I have 5yo twin boys, they love singing+dancing like "The Wiggles," they also LOVE bubbles. My 7yo daughter watches every episode of Sophia the 1st multiple times. But they're not really into the other characters and they are obviously not preschoolers and this seems like it will be boring for the 4 adults in our party. What are your takes on age range this is really WORTH it for to take the time or opinions if you think my children will really enjoy this?

Sounds to me like your kids will enjoy! I would go watch it. Besides it's a nice break to just sit and relax in air conditioning and the kids have fun dancing and watching the show. And the bubbles falling from the ceiling is fun for any kid! It's a fun show for kids and good break for adults. :goodvibes

Honestly, it is really geared for the pre-school/toddler set. They are puppets too, so the older kids won't buy it as much. Plus they cram you in on the floor so it gets very uncomfortable for the adults. I don't think it is a complete waste of time, but it probably won't deliver as big of a 'wow' as you might think.

Are you talking about the Disney Jr. Live on Stage at Hollywood Studios, or are you talking about the Disney Live on Stage that tours from city to city?

As far as the Disney Jr. at Hollywood Studios, we've done it several times and as an adult I did always find it boring- in fact I won't forget the happy look on DH's face one trip when I told him he could go ride TOT while I took DD to it. It is definitely nothing I would have gone to if I did not have a kid that liked Disney Jr. At age 5, DD still loved it. I would say it is probably for the 2 to 5 age group. DD still wanted to see it and still liked it at age 6. Even now at 8, since Sophia has been added, she would probably want to go see it just for that part.

If you are talking about the touring shows, it depends on the show. We have been to several of them. Most of them are great and entertain the adults as well as the kids.

I think if your kids watch Sofia or any Disney Jr shows they will like it. It is a nice a/c break and a good chance for kids to move/dance if they want. It reminded me of an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. My kids enjoyed it but it definitely wasn't a must do.

The adults in your party are likely to be very bored, but I think your kids would probably like it from what you've described of them. I've got a 7 and 5 year old and they both still like it, especially because of Sofia.

My boys always liked this show as it has changed over the years. It is a little boring, but as a parent I find it fun to watch the kids get that excited about it. I think it depends on your kids and their likes. Last year my youngest was 5 and he didn't want to do it, but he didn't care for the characters in the show either.
