Is Disney getting outdated for you?

I love disney - it reminds me of all that is good in the world - this includes the classic rides. I enjoy the new ones as well. They just need to maintain and make minor adjustments to the classics every once in a while.

I could somewhat see how Disney is outdated. All of us on here are old enough to have been around all of the major Disney movies that came out...Snow White, Cinderella, Lion King, etc. etc... I was talking to my 6 year old cousin the other day who is going in a couple of months. I was trying to get him excited by listing a bunch of the rides (How about Peter Pan? Do you like Winnie the Pooh?) , and he basically stared at me like I had two heads. I think its good they update with new attractions like Stitch, Bugs Life, and Nemo, but it makes me sad to think that a lot of the great classics might be passing children by. I know that my cousins will still have a blast, but he barely even knew who Mickey is. Perhaps I need to try a little bit harder with my excitement ratio next time :confused3

My DS4 has seen Peter Pan and likes Winnie the Pooh (he also has Winnie the Pooh Candyland and loves playing it). Peter Pan now has a very special meaning to us. It was the last video our son saw with his Aunt before she passed away from cancer back in April. I'm glad we took pictures of him watching Peter Pan with Aunt Bobbie.
