After talking to my AAA agent we figured out that she was adding insurance to my quote and I was declining insurance on the website! After she changed the quote it all worked out! :Pinkbounc

I've seen other posts on the board about getting the same price from Disney as AAA. I know that there are only a certain number of discount packages available and all that BUT... I called my AAA agent to get a quote for November 06 at any moderate or value. In each case the price that she quoted me was only $5 or $6 dollars total for 5 nights different than the Disney site. I have to wonder... it is a discount ($1 a night  ) but the last time our discount was enough to pay for an upgrade.

A couple of different scenarios are going through my head. Are we done with AAA discounts or is it possibly too early to get a discount rate or is the 1st week in November so booked that they have already booked up the discount rooms. :scared:

Im not sure what your exact dates are, but I checked the AAA website, and November 1st through the 6th show all rooms available at a discount.

Value (standard room) $84.15
Rack rate is $99.00

Value (preferred room) $94.35
Rack rate is $111.00

Moderate (standard view) $131.75
Rack rate is $155.00

Moderate (water view) $148.75
Rack rate is $175.00

I would either call another AAA agent to make your reservation, or call Disney directly to book it if it is a room only reservation.

Hope that helped a little bit. :)

I booked our October 2006 room-only reservation back in August using the AAA discount (thru Disney, not AAA). The discount was 10%.

As far as people saying they are getting the same price from Disney as AAA...are they talking about the recent code that was released? Because AAA discount cannot be applied IN ADDITION to another discount, AAA agents are quoting the same price for this deal.

I was working on a package, not a room only. Hmmm... I'll call my agent again and ask her to check again... maybe she is not entering something correct when she is checking.
