Is Disney Dining Plan Worth The Money?

Having just done 14 days on the plan, in my opinion it is worth it but you do end up eating more than you would normally. Over the two week period the total cost of the food that me and my partner had (including gratuities) came to $1646. Table service meals averaged $88 for the two of us, with counter service meals averaging $26. The dining plan allows you to try new restaurants that you maybe wouldn't normally go to and it's great not having to spend most of your money on food. The only down sides are that you loose some flexability (we missed Spectromagic everytime we went to the Magic Kingdom because we were dining) and you go home several pounds heavier.
