Is Disney Club Really Worth it?

I have a Dollar reservation for one week Sept 29-Oct 4 for $141 (not incl taxes). I am a National EA member, but the rate I got was around $145 for same period. My question is, how deep is the Disney Club discount...are the fees worth it? I am Canadian, so would be paying ~$48 Cdn for the membership.

I think National with Disney Club contract number is a bit lower than what you have.

From my experience, the Disney contract number gives the deepest discount on National cars.

Right now I have a reservation for Nov/Dec for 10 days for a Full size/EA for $214. I don't think that's too bad, and I hope it will be coming down before then.

The base rate right now is $144 for that timeframe before taxes also before discounts.

Jo-Anne, Are you planning on buying Park Hopper tickets or doing any shopping at the Disney Stores in Downtown Disney? The Disney Club card saves you about 5% on Park tickets and 10% savings at the Disney stores and on catalog purchases. There are also restaurant and National Car Rental Savings. Many US employers belong to programs which offer $10 (US) off the membership fee, which makes it $29.95/yr. I don't know if similar savings are available from Canadian employers.
