Is Dec 7 or Dec 14 busier?

I had Dec 14 booked and Dec 7 waitlisted. Dec 7 came through, and I cancelled Dec 14.
Later changed it back, so I can fly on Tuesdays (cheaper on SWA). I will be activating a new annual pass, so starting it on the 8th instead of 7th 2020 gives a whole week for Dec 2021 (if I can get it---I have a Dec UY so can not walk, and you all know how busy those first 2 weeks are.) 2021 has different point charts, so don't know how many will adjust their booking patterns the first year of new point charts.
Anyway, an hour ago Dec 7 was still available, but is now gone. I am thinking of putting in waitlist again.
I want to go to MVMCP on Tues, so that makes for a VERY long day if it is the day I fly in. With how much the party costs, I want to be able to last the whole night! So if I fly in on Mon, I can hopefully recover overnight. If I do fly in on Mon, I don't know if I would go to Epcot Candlelight Processional, which I love and go to several times, or MK, which would be crowded. Then MK again on Tues, then the party that night. Sounds kind of exhausting both ways!
So would Epcot and MK be busier on 12/7 or 12/14?

Sure wish I knew who the Candlelight Processional narrator will be for 12/7.

We were just there, from the 7th to the 14th of December. It was NOT busy at all toward the beginning of that week however when we left on the 14th (we were in MK on our last day) it was getting EXTREMELY packed.

Thank you. That is what I was afraid of. I should not have changed it back. I will try waitlisting again, but not expect much.

We've been at both those times and I'd say we didn't notice any difference. The time we were there the week before Christmas we felt the build just before the weekend so around the 21st. Between the 7th and the 14th I personally wouldn't give differences in crowds a thought - it tends to be more what is the park of the day.

I went this year from Dec 15 to the 19th, and I didn’t find the crowds too bad. We didn’t do many rides, but found it pretty nice to stroll around, especially Epcot!

I think both will be about the same, until the 18/19 when it will get busy.

We are always at the VGF for 7 to 10 nights beginning the first Saturday of December.
(Before VGF, we stayed at the GF during this time frame)

In the past few years we've noticed a trend of it getting busier earlier in the month. This time period "used" to seem practically deserted, no more.

I agree but I think it's the trend for most if not all the slow times. I was just talking with someone about our New Years trip this year and how early on the 30th at MK was the slowest I'd seen MK for a long time. Of course it filled in during the afternoon but it reemphasized for me how busy it's gotten to be year round.

I am often there at that time of year. The week days still tend to be quite nice. The weekends, particularly at MK are nuts.
I do not think either week is necessarily better, but you could look to see what week Pop Warner is, that could impact things a little.
I do not think there is a wrong choice between those 2 weeks. I certainly would not fret over it much.
