is Cove cafe worth it for a non-coffee person?

I don't drink coffee either, but I can always find something to drink while my husband enjoys his coffee. We love to go in there and play cards and sample the snacks.

Can you go in and get some snacks to take back to your room?

Also, I'm traveling alone with my 15 year old son, can he come in just to pick something out or will the child alarms go off for my 6'1" teenager entering the adults only area? :)

Don't take your 15 year old in there. When I was sitting on the deck next to it with my 19 year old, a DCL employee came to ask if she was 18. That only happens if someone complains. I can guarantee you, someone will complain. People practically go into cardiac arrest just reading about it online.

I wrapped some stuff in a napkin and took back to my room. A server insisted on serving me on a plate. I just wanted 2 items, he brought me 6. I didn't want to waste stuff, so brought it back to my room, but we didn't eat it anyway. I don't know if they will give you a to go box. I've never seen one.

Sounds like he may pass for 18, LOL......Shhhhh........ :)

Ok, I'll venture in on my own and bring him something back. :D Thanks!

Haha I believe he might. No one ever believes me when I say he's only 15! lol

Untrue. I have witnessed CMs telling parents that their children could not be in the Cove area on several occasions, with each time requiring no prompting whatsoever by a guest.

That seems like an odd question to ask. I can safely say that the majority of people I interact with do not drink coffee. I've never even set foot in a Starbucks!!!
A 2015 survey showed 64% of Americans drink at least one cup of coffee on an average day.

I've been seeing a lot of raves for the Cove Cafe, but I don't drink coffee of any kind, or anything with coffee in it. I plan on checking out the adult areas anyhow, but is the Cove worth a trip without the coffee?

I don't know if you like tea but they have a great selection there.

Holy Cow those snacks look amazing....it's added to my list! Thanks!

Have never not seen snacks in there?

I love the aged cheeses and cold cuts. SOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOD!

I was on the Magic end of Feb and I honestly only saw sweets there. What time are the cheeses and cold cuts put out as maybe I just didnt go late enough (even though I know one time it was during 1st dinner as I was craving a snack from there before second seating.

Just did a B2B in Feb. on Magic and I want to say it was after dining, but seem to remember it after lunch also.

They used to have chocolate covered strawberries in the snack case, but they quit putting those out a couple years back.

While we are not coffee drinkers, we do enjoy the teas they prepare in their and it is a relaxing place to be. Make sure you start a punch card if you do buy something, they can be carried over from cruise to cruise and onto the other ships.

On the Wonder, the Café Cove extends up to the upper deck and is enclosed. On our Alaskan cruise, we would just go up after dinner and order wine or after dinner drinks and watch Alaska go by. I don't drink coffee either, but it was one of my favorite places on the Wonder.

This is one of my wife’s and I favorite places on the ship. We would go in the evening have a drink and just relax and talk while the kids were in the clubs. It was quiet and comfortable, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy each others company. I would sometimes get coffee she sometime got tea but the man attraction was well decorated and quiet area this provided us.

I'm not a coffee or tea drinker so I don't usually spend time in the Cove Cafe. I have gone in to get snacks to take back to the room and have on the verandah. The one time I spent any amount of time there was on a cold day at sea, it was a nice place to keep warm as opposed to out on deck where I usually can be found.

The Eco-Tini has just moved to the top of my list of things to try! Is the menu the same on all ships?

What do you mean "worth it?" There is no admission fee to enter Cove Cafe.
