Is COSTCO really worth it?

One thing that I want to say about Costco and BJ's meat (or even produce)and finding it for less on sale elsewhere is that you might be able to get the meat cheaper somewhere else but the quality is definitely not as good. For me the quality of the meat more than makes up for not getting sale prices.

My family drinks a lot of milk. I just priced milk at BJ's for 2.89 a gal, the grocery stores is 4.24 a gal. That difference alone will pay for my membership this year.

Thanks everyone! I think what I'll do is after we move and I can get a standalone freezer that I'll spring for the cost of a membership. Right now unless it is non-perishable I wouldn't have a lot of room to store it. I am also thinking of getting a foodsaver so that I can buy more items in bulk and freeze them.
