Out of curiosity, what were the dates? Is this a conference that is next week or two months from now, for example?
April 5-8

I've never gotten one of these! What's the trick?I just got it too.
So tempting!
I received one, too. I checked after reading your post. lol I'm seriously considering booking a solo trip.Interesting... I just got an email from Disney with a unique offer code for $69 per night at All Stars in April / May. Wonder if they are being hit with lots of cancellations. If I didn't already have an October trip booked, I would be all over this deal!

Have you ever stayed at one of the All Stars? It says it is for guests who have stayed there in the past.Nothing in my email inbox and I spent a boatload with them last November. They could at least send me a deal!!
I still haven't had my waitlist come through for this spring . I'm guessing not much happening with DVC ..at least for now.Interesting... I wish I knew!I've never gotten one of these! What's the trick?
I've had one in there for weeks! For September! lolI wish I knew!
I do have a hotel in my cart that I didn't actually reserve yet for September... maybe that triggered it?
I got the email but have never stayed at All Stars, just FYINo, I haven't. Guess that explains it.
It's one of those great mysteries no one has been able to figure out lolI've never gotten one of these! What's the trick?
My husband has a business trip at the end of this month that the dates just go ironed out today for Schenectady, NY. Hours away from NYC but I don't believe his company is restricting any business or leisure travel at this point for domestic travel. I'm so so so glad my husband's field assignment is done. He was in Long Beach, CA for 9 months last year flying back and forth between that and home every 2 weeks for the weekend...that's a lot of air travel. My company just came out with no unnecessary travel (and absolutely no air travel unless approved), they cancelled all our presence at trade shows and conferences, no travelling to other company offices for meetings. I'm pretty surprised by it to be honest. I regularly travel to our office in NYC, won't be doing that until the bans are lifted.
Our family has a trip to Ireland scheduled for late May. We have not cancelled, but I did purchase “cancel for any reason” trip insurance specifically because of concerns about the virus. We will make a decision depending on developments. From what I read, purchase of those policies is way up!
I’m trying to figure out our hypothetical Ireland/Scotland trip this summer. We’ve booked nothing yet, but we’ve been looking at July. I wanted to get travel insurance because you never know when a family member will die, but I’m trying to roll coronavirus protections in. It’s not me I’m worried about, it’s the outside factors. Like, if the airline cancels my flight (like all the airlines canceling JFK to Milan) because of coronavirus concerns, will the insurance cover that? It seems like no...
ETA: If anyone has insurance recommendations, let me know!
We haven't changed plans. Heading to Dublin in 2 weeks to visit DD20 who is studying over there for the semester.
