Are the Concierge rooms ever included in any discounts like Florida Resident? Or are those rooms never discounted?

The only way to get a discount for a Concierge cabin is at the port, as PP said. The cost will be much less than booking online since the cost is for the cabin, not per guest. They never offer Florida, military, *GT or GTY rates on Concierge staterooms.

From a family verandah room to concierge, about how much would it be?
Of course, there are two prerequisites : a Concierge stateroom needs to be available, which is not something very frequent, outside of last minute cancellations. Also, you need to be one of the first in the terminal, meaning on the first DCL bus from MCO, hoping there are not a lot of B2B from the previous cruise...

We received 25% off future cruise voucher when our cruise was cancelled a couple of years ago due to the hurricane. They allowed it to be used on a concierge level room and yes we used it for that. Huge savings on a 7 night cruise. Could not be combined with placeholder benefits however.

My family cruised Concierge for the first and only time in Late August 2014. Four of us in Family Stateroom it was only $2800, give or take for 3 nights on the Dream.

I have not seen it that cheap again. The price was too good to pass up. We were able to experience Concierge service etc. and lounge. We were able to get a Cabana on CC., which was incredible.

Maybe in the future DH and I can Cruise Concierge again. Right now, renovating our home and 2 sons in college.

So, if you cruise off season and a shorter cruise. The prices are not too bad.

Thanks everyone! Was just curious. I don’t think I’d upgrade at the port It sounds unlikely any rooms would be left by then.

If you are on B2B do you still upgrade when you get off the ship from your first cruise? or do they let you do it while on the first cruise, perhaps the last day of that first cruise?
or just when you are back in PC waiting to get back on for 2nd cruise?

People are apparently able to upgrade on the previous cruise. On a recent Fantasy cruise, I was the first one in line at the supervisor's desk and was able to upgrade to a concierge verandah stateroom at the port. This was due to two families who were on a B2B...one had upgraded from a 1BR to the Roy Suite and the other had upgraded from the verandah stateroom to the 1BR.

Thank you! Good to know for this summer.

If you upgrade on the ship the day before your first cruise is over, you are upgrading at the posted rate online. You have to upgrade at the supervisors desk to get the discounted rate if there are any rooms available.

There was a price drop for concierge rooms on our sailing (Fantasy Eastern), 10% off the original base fare, just happened about 2 months prior to sail date. They were not selling even with that discount; about a week out some folks on our sailing who originally booked Cat. 4A got pixie-dusted with free upgrades to concierge.
