Is Cinderella's Castle buffet worth it?

My husband is trying to talk me out of trying to reserve the castle dinner buffet, but it looks like fun to me (can you see fireworks at the end?). Can I hear from some people who have done it and is it fun for boys too, or just little princesses? Thanks!

FYI, it's not a buffet, it's a pre-plated meal that's not ayce.

From what I've read, the chances of viewing fireworks from there are slim to none because most of them are above you, and the window are small and few.

Well I hate to admit when DH is right, but it sure sounds like he is!!
:sad2: I appreciate the input!!

You have "3 Boys"; you'll have to book a girls trip in order to get a castle meal. ;) I doubt it was just about being "worth" it. DH and the 11yo would have to explain having no little girl/sister and having dinner with Cinderella. :rolleyes1 Like I said they are "Boys".

I have seen little boys go (no girls in the family) and they seemed to really enjoy themselves. We even once saw a little prince who was celebrating his birthday at the castle!! If the mom really wants to go, I think that she, as the Queen/Princess of the family should plan to dine at the castle. What is not to love about dining in a beautiful castle when you are in the most magical place on earth, even if the kids are little boys?

I have CRT booked for dinner for our upcoming trip this August..we did the castle for breakfast but never for dinner..It is the night of my son's 8th birthday. I have 2 boys and 1 girl...but the whole experience of eating in the castle is what appeals to us..for me it is a must do if you are spending the day in the MK. For dinner the fairy godmother and the 3 blind mice put on a cute show, from what I have read. The princesses do not circulate the tables during dinner...I think the experience is great and well worth the money...no matter if you have boys or girls or both ;)

Hey if you want to do it - DO IT.... Not sure about the Fireworks but I have read on the boards here that people have seen thern.... The boys as I understand get a sword... what boy doesnt love a sword... :) We are going for lunch in just a few days and cant wait.... :) good luck deciding...

This board is really great and you all are so nice to jump in and advise. I am so glad I found you !!

I'm gonna have to weight the 2 meal thing or upgrade to the deluxe, but another $800 is just sooooo much!

Thanks again!

I don't know about Cinderella's Castle dinner but DH and I are taking our two sons (they'll be 4 and 6) to 1900 Park Fare for the character dinner :) I'm the only Princess in our family ;)
