Is Cinderella a hypocrite?

In one scene, she says, "Well, if there's one thing, they can't order me to stop dreaming." But then, not long after, she gets mad at the dog saying about his dream, "That's bad. [...] you need to get rid of those dreams." Hmm...

Does the second scene come after her initially not being able to go to the ball? I haven't seen Cinderella in the last couple months, so I don't precisely remember how that second scene unfolds, but it's an interesting point, to be sure.

Well the dog's dreams involved harming Lucifer, the cat, so I don't think she was being hypocritical so much as discouraging violence and I doubt Cinderella dreamed of truly harming her stepfamily...:rolleyes1

They're both pretty close together and well before fairy godmother ever showed up. The second scene was right after we first meet the stepsisters and mother.

Good point, but we are talking about a dog, here. What greater ambitions can we expect him to have? LOL. Besides, it's a dream that happens "when you're fast asleep". I think it's ok as long as it stays in his dreams, right?
