Is Chef TJ still at GF?

I thought I remember reading that the famous chef TJ moved from Boma to a short stay at O'hana and then moved to GF (splitting time between PF and GFC) a year or so ago. I had hopes with his reputation that he'd fix up PF's dinner, but it seems like reviews are pretty much the same as before he was there and that the menu hasn't really changed.

So any word on where TJ is now?

1) I don't know how one would spice up a character buffet.
2) One goes for the character, not the food.
3) After excessive labor, there isn't much to increase the food.

As far as I ever read, the awesome thing about Chef TJ is that he makes special vegetarian meals for people, not just the "oh sure it's vegetarian" stuff on the buffet. So he's not making *everyone's* meals awesome, just us vegetarians/vegans.

We canceled our 1900 dinner in December, so we don't know if he's working the magic over there...

He also is good with food allergies or any kind of special diet. If you don't get an answer here perhaps you can call gr directly and ask.

This has been discussed many times on the disABILITIES! board because of how special he is to folks with food allergies. Since his move to GF, nobody has seen him. I don't remember a single sighting. Many of us have been to restaurants there more than once but we haven't seen him. Actually, I think there may have been one sighting at a dinner but the person wasn't sure of the chefs name and didn't give a physical description of the chef; just a great review that sounded like his kind of touches. I've eaten at 1900 PF twice since he moved to GF and he wasn't there either time.

ETA: This doesn't mean he's not working at GF. I'm really just trying to say that it doesn't look like he comes out to work directly with guests who have special dietary needs at GF. He very well may be overhauling some things in kitchens and/or on menus; that's Disney business that guests aren't privvy to so all we can do is speculate.
