We've been back from our very first cruise for a week and a half now (anyone have a cure for post-cruise blues LOL) and by definition should be silver level members... do I need to do something or register somewhere? I haven't received any e-mail from Disney regarding Castaway Club. Would they know automatically when I book our next DCL cruise?

Also, with multiple family members staying in the same stateroom, does every person get to be a CC member (with the cruise being counted towards their membership level)? Or is it only counted for the main person whose name the stateroom is under?

Everyone is automatically enrolled on your cruise.

You can log into the DCL website your past cruise will be there and your CC number show up, or just call or contact DCL.

chances are you may get something in the mail however if you don't then you can go the route that disney fantasy has mentioned and do your own footwork. its very easy.

as for a cure for post-cruise blues its simple. always have a new cruise in your back pocket so there is something to look forward to. works every time. :sunny:

They will mail you something, but it takes awhile. It took about 3 months before I got something in the mail. In the meantime, my CC status was noted on my next cruise reservation. I agree with tinkerone that it helps to have your next cruise booked. :)

It's hit-or-miss whether you receive something in the mail. We never did. Some people do.

If you still have your KTTW cards, your CC number is on there. Or you can log-in to the DCL website and look it up. Or call. Every passenger gets his/her own CC membership number, even children.

Enjoy your next cruise!

Hi ciniminis,

Each person in your stateroom that went on the cruise gets their own Castaway Club Membership number. As for post-cruise blues/withdrawals, I go on youtube and watch or listen to videos on the subject of Disney Cruise Line. There all sorts of videos you can look at that I am sure will cheer you up! Congratulations on become a Castaway Club member!

This is really good to know, I had no idea if the cc member status would be for 1 person or "family"... its good to know its personal

Thanks everyone for great advice! I had thought the cruise is something I would try just once, but now I know why people go again and again:-)

Yep.

When we got back from our first DCL cruise I used the "what is my membership number" link found...somewhere. Not sure where. They emailed them to me. Then I looked at my scrapbooking stuff and lo and behold, on our very first cruise keycards, there were our numbers. They assign them to us on our very first cruise.
