Is Carthay Circle Lounge - Alfresco Dining no more?

I've been trying for awhile now to get a reservation for here for the end of June, and it keep saying "This experience is not offered on the date selected." Does this just mean it's full? Or are they not doing the alfresco dining anymore?

And, does anyone have a suggestion for another restaurant that offers pasta with marinara sauce (not the whole wheat pasta) for either a kids meal or adult? We've tried the kids pasta at Wine Country Trattoria a few years ago, and she didn't like it. Not sure if it's the same as CCL now? Maybe we could try that again. Or what about Pizza Planet, Boardwalk, or Plaza Inn? Any thoughts on theirs? We have PH so we can eat in either park. Trying to find some in park solutions for a picky eater. :crazy2:

My picky eater was a fan of the spaghetti and meatballs at Boardwalk. The sauce was chunkier than the marinara they're used to, but it didn't bother them, and they are generally sensitive to sauces having too much tomato texture. It was a large serving so I helped finish it off and found it decidedly 'meh' but kiddo wants it again next trip.

That would be one heck of a detour for a bowl of spaghetti...

Pyms Test Kitchen has spaghetti with marinara and meatballs. Plaza Inn and Alien Pizza Planet do as well. It's all the same, but the meatball at Pyms is "Impossible" meatless meat. Also, the pasta at Plaza Inn is meatless. Alien Pizza Planet spaghetti and meatballs is the same as Boardwalk.

I was able to make a reservation for CCL for the last week of June. If you don't see a reservation pop up for your dates, try using the app to get on the walk up list.

ETA: I just looked on the app and there appear to be reservations at CCL for lunch and dinner during the last week of June.

What date did you check? I just tried the app as well and nothing is coming up for me. I only tried for dinner though.

So weird. Why can’t I see them? 🤔 I’ll keep trying. Thanks so much for letting me know!
Did you try a different browser if you're on a computer, or switching to a computer if you're on a mobile device, or vice versa?

In my past experiences, the walk up wait at Carthay Circle hasn't been too long, I think the longest I've waited is around 20mins.

I ate at Carthay Circle Lounge yesterday with my 3 1/2 year old and she had the pasta. She had it with butter not the marinara sauce but it was not wheat pasta. Just plain pasta shells. She is not a particularly picky eater but this pasta and the brunch quesadilla at Lamplight are her two favorite (non dessert) meals in the park and we try to go every trip.
