Its right now being upgraded with new carpeting and seats.

It is OPEN while the work is being done.
And this work bodes well for the future of this attraction.

While it remains listed as an "Open Seasonally" attraction, it has been open many times over the past few years when we have vacationed in WDW's "off-season".

For the first time since i started visiting WDW, it was open all last week! I finally got to view it (twice).

Please, oh, please let it be working on Dec 7th! It's one of my favs... AND it is a good thing to do while my DH will be riding Space Mountain.. (yeah, I know, I am chicken! bok bok!)

It is my understanding that The decision to open "seasonal" rides is made daily based on park attendace. (at leat that is what the CM told me when I asked at MK) not ont the actuall date presay. We went in nov 04 (off season) and it was open. So it would depend on how many people go on that particular day. So if you really want to ensure seeing this try going on a saturday or an EMH day.

It has been open daily for months. That is not to say that WDW could change that but since we are headed towards the very busy time of year I would guess it will stay open.

Just back this afternoon and rode it on Friday.
