We would like to head there one day before we head over to the Magic Kingdom. Do you need ADR's or is it counter service? TIA!!!!!:goodvibes

Captain Cook's is a counter service restaurant at the Polynesian, so ADR's are not necessary. Even though it is a small restaurant with a limited selection, the Tonga Toast makes it worthwhile! :thumbsup2

are there sandwiches for takeout?
and if so what would you suggest?

I remember there were a couple of different sandwhiches but I don't remember what they were.

You are able to take anything back to your room or pool if you want. You can either ask for a to-go box or just take the tray and basket.

There are a few tables and booths inside and lots of seating outside. We went there for snacks and then to the Poly beach to watch WISHES and the water parade. S
