I like the menu, but it is a buffet & I usually don't go for buffet food. Is the food here any good? (dinner only) TIA!!! So MANY decisions :D

I ate at the Cape May last trip for the first time ever and came away impressed. I'd say of all the buffets I've tried, it comes just about tops and I'll certainly go back. The Dessert selection is just fab too :)

This is a must do restaurant for us every trip. There is plenty for everyone and the desserts are out of this world.

I'm not a big buffet fan either, but on our last trip our friends brought us there, and it was very good! And, like everyone else said, the desserts are fantastic!

We like this buffet. Has both seafood and what I call "normal" food. I like their salad bar. DH like the seafood selections although they aren't spectacular but very good for a buffet. The desserts are also great and they have a nice section for the kids. Food has always been hot and area kept clean. Keep in mind the beverages are NOT included in the buffet cost. They are extra.

Hi! We ate there last week. I'm not usually very impressed with a buffet, but we all loved this dinner! I would go back in a heartbeat. :)

It's a must do for us each trip. We enjoy it.

Cape May is our favorite buffet!

Cape May does the buffet RIGHT. I don't know how they manage it, but every time my DW and I have gone (either breakfast or dinner), it is wonderful. (OT -- I do wish some of the other WDW buffets would take lessons!)

Having said that, some people have commented that the seafood is not as good as what they get at home. I think a lot depends on the type/quality of seafood you get where you live. I live in the Chicago area, so I am not hard to please. But I've read reviews from people from Boston and Louisiana that were not impressed by the seafood.

I happen to love it; Cape May is a 2-time MUST DO on every trip -- once for the character breakfast and once for dinner. Well, maybe more than twice if we can afford it :p

I love this restaurant! I have eaten here twice this year and both experiences were excellent. The selection and freshness were both superb and our waitstaff were very pleasant and friendly.

After dinner there this summer, we proceeded to the small lounge just outside the restaurant. A great place for an after dinner drink and great converstion!

This one is definitely one of my favs!! :)

Do you think there is enough variety for people who don't eat seafood at all?
Thanks!

In addition to the seafood, there are many other selections including chicken and ribs. This buffet was always a must for us until last year. Perhaps because it is very casual and relaxed, we found that people tend to let their children roam free here. The kids buffet is actually lower so that kids can access the food but it seems to us that parents don't assist their kids. I know this can happen anywhere but the last time we were there, kids were grabbing at the desserts with their hands and putting things back. It was then that we decided to dine elsewhere.
