I went to the Disney webpage and did not see any place to check for AAA rates, so then I went to the AAA page and all I see is packages and rates that seem way too high! Any info is appreciated. Thanks!

You should be able to go to www.aaa.com, enter your zip code and then click on Travel (or something similar - different AAA sites vary). Then do a search for Lake Buena Vista, FL and enter your dates - and a list of hotels (including Disney ones) should be displayed. You can find out the rack rates at www.mousesavers.com and then see for yourself if a discounted rate is available. For example, if a king room at POR is regularly $149, the discounted AAA rate would be $119.20 or something like that.

You can't book packages online, but you can book the discounted AAA room only reservations this way. Just remember to show your AAA card at check-in.

Hope this helps.

Just wanted to thank you for this information WDWBetsy. I didn't know you could find a room on Disney propoerty this way, I kept clicking on the Disney links, and could never find just room only infowmation.

Also, when I spoke directly with Disney, they told me there were no AAA rates available. Well, she didn't mention that other room types were available at a AAA rate, which I can see on the AAA site. So now we may change to a preferred location at CBR as it is cheaper with AAA than a standard room at rack rate, even though the savings aren't great, it will still improve our vacation.

I love to be infomed and know all my options and discounts available.

Thanks again!
