The Disney busses make me mental. I just hate them.
My last trip (POR 1/23-1/29) I took the bus on the first day because I was going to the MK. As everyone says, it's better to take Disney transportation rather than own car.
I waited 20 minutes. This was at North Dept. Bus was half full. At East Depot we were 3/4 full. At main South Depot the line was horrendous. I could not believe it. I was so happy I wasn't boarding from there. I have no idea how long those people must have waited (and this on a Thursday in January).
Anyway, they packed the folks in like sardines. Half the people rode standing up.
Never again. A much better bet is to rent a car. Which I had and which I then used for everywhere from then on. (BTW, I got fabulous up close parking the whole trip).
Drive even to MK. But do this, drive to EPCOT. Park. Take monorail to MK. Then when you leave MK, take monorail back to EPCOT.
