Is building 14 ok at POR?

I just called and changed our room only ressie to a package, and got the NICEST CM ever,

At the end, she asked me if I had any special request I wanted to put in the ressie.. suggested Building 14 or 18... told me that 14 was closer to food court, and 18 was closer to the pool... since I didn't have a map handy, and figured we probably wouldn't be doing much swimming (going in December), had her put down building 14.

Anyone ever stay there, and is it a decent spot to stay? I don't want to be right in the middle of the activity, but figuring it would it would be nice to have a shorter walk to the food court so my dd's wouldn't tire out too quickly, lol.

I've looked at a map after I hung up, and am confused about the bus stops.. the only ones I've ever heard about are the West, North, and East Depots, which are a very long trek from bldg 14.. but then there's the blue bayou platform/river delta platform on the map that are real close to the food court... are those actual bus stops too which would take you to the parks?

We've stayed in building 14 twice! Close to everything. Lobby, Food, shop, bus and pool!!! You'll love it.

Just another quick question....

Was just watching our honeymoon video (from '99), trying to figure out where we had stayed then, lol!

Our room # was 3540.. anyone know what building that woulda been in?

We've stayed in Bldg 14, 28 and 15. Found all to be good locations. Remember no elevators to 2nd floor just steps. Also, Bldg 14 is typically reserved for handicapp guests so they will be placed there first ... it may be harder to get into. Our initial request was 14 and ended up in 15 -- we were very pleased. We always caught the bus at the stop by the gift stop (main one) in the front of the resort.
