My DD loves Cinderella. She also likes the other prin. too. I made PS for the other breakfast at Epcot thinking that we would see more of the Prin. I fear that her heart will be broken if we don't see Cinderella in the park during our visit. Should I try for one more breakfast? I have to start calling on July 2nd. We are already doing 3 character meals. Thanks for the info.

I would try to get the PS for Cinderella's. If you do get it, maybe you could cancel one of your other character meals. Although, we always do a bunch of character meals and my kids love them all.

About Cinderella's - there is just something magical about going up into the castle and seeing Cinderella there. Even my DH (who is not really into these sort of meals) thought it was really a special event.

If you don't get it, you still have the others. If it was me - I would try to get the PS and then decide. CRT is a very special meal for my family and I know they will be sad any year we aren't able to get the difficult to get PS's.

Good luck with your decision!

I have eaten in the castle for lunch and dinner, hoping to get a ps for breakfast for our trip in October. I don't think you can beat the atmosphere of eating in the castle.

When we made our PS for Cinderella's Gala Feast at GF, the girl on the phone said they made the restaurant look very regal, very castle-like....we'll find out in August....it was very easy to get a PS & you don't have to give a credit card....I don't think many folks know about this dinner....

My DD turned 4 while we were at WDW last month. We had breakfast with Cindy and the princesses the very first morning and it was pure magic! (Walking down Main Street to the Castle with not another guest in sight was pretty cool, too). We saw Cindy, Snow White, Aurora, Belle (DD's favorite, who took the time to discuss with DD what Mrs. Potts and Chip were up to) and Mary Poppins. Fairy Godmother was downstairs when we left. DD was so excited that I was teary-eyed. The food and the service were both very good. We also did the Storybook Breakfast at Epcot. Although this was very good, too, it wasn't as special as breakfast in the castle. Characters there were Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Mary Poppins and Aurora.

Also, after the show in front of the castle - which is every hour or so - alot of the characters make meet and greet appearances. DD met Suzie and Perla, and Prince Charming, among many others. This was great for a Cindy lover. Aside from the breakfasts and parades, we didn't see Cindy anywhere else in the parks.

Breakfast with Cinderella was one of the big high points in our vacation! The entire thing was very special. We saw the Fairy Godmother downstairs in the waiting area -- she was wonderful and chatted on and on with my girls. Do plan to arrive 15-20 minutes ahead of your scheduled time so you'll have time to see her. Two groups had to leave (from in front of us -- hee hee) because their name was called before they could see her. Upstairs the atmosphere was quite regal, the food was good, and the princesses were . . . well, princesses!

We had one little problem: We were on the far side of the room, and the princesses were just starting the other side. This was good because we were able to eat, and just as we finished the characters reached us. Somehow Jasmin and Aladdin missed our table. I asked the waiter (politely) if they'd be coming to our table, and he assured me that every character would make every table -- just wait. I pointed out that every other character had been to our table, but these two had skipped us and had already started "working" the other side of the room. It had been crowded in that area, and I'm sure it was a mistake. He promptly called them over, and they spent a minute with my girls.

Having been to CRT once, I'd probably try to make reservations again, but I wouldn't sweat it if we missed it. All little girls should be allowed to go at least once though!

I would definitely at least try.

I had never been to CRT before, and I was able to get in for our honeymoon last summer for breakfast. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. There's just something about being in the castle!

And if you are able to get it (*crossing my fingers for you*), then you can reexamine your current PS's and figure out what will be best.

Good luck! :)

We just got back and we ate at the castle during lunch. Cinderella was in the lobby and boy was she sour. I guess she caught the prince with one of the stepsisters. We still enjoyed the meal because we eat there for the atmosphere. It really is special. The best character meal we had (and we had four of them) was at 1900 Park Faire in the GF. Cinderella was so involved and Prince Charming actually sat down at the table and visited with our 4 yr old daughter at some length, joking around and asking questions, even listening to her answers. The mice were so cute, kissing and teasing our 20 yr old son. It was the best character interaction ever. Since CRT breakfast ressies are so hard to get, why not consider this evening meal as an alternative. It was so much fun. But, do plan to catch a lunch or early dinner at the castle.

Hi there.... it is so worth it!

Eating in the castle is magical - seeing Cinderella priceless - try to make a PS -

I made one the other morning - I called right at 6:59am, had to redial once - press 1 - got a live person right away and we were lucky enough to get a spot for Aug 26th.

Good Luck!

>>^..^<<

We ate at CRT on 6/21. It was great. Everyone loved it, esp. my
9-year old daughter (My 15 yr old son & 14 yr. old daughter loved it too!). Besides Cindy, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White & Mary Poppins were there!. Good luck on getting reservations...start calling @6:55 AM :) Oh, the food was good, too!

Thank you so much for your thoughts. I have decided to try for one. I always walk through the tunnel of the castle but haven't never been "inside". I am kind of excited now!!!! Thanks again. If I can't get the breakfast then I will try for the feast at the GF.

Jen

If you have a little girl that loves the princesses this is a must do! Just make sure you have plenty of film for your camera and an autograph book. The look on her face when they come by and the memories the pictures bring will more than make up for the price.

Hi Snowfan - remember that the Cinderella's Gala Feast (dinner) will take PS 120 days in advance vs. only 60 days for the CRT at the MK. We just booked ours for Oct at the GF for the Gala Feast - never been - we're very excited!! This way we know that we have at least one meal with Cinderella if we can't get into the breakfast at he MK. Have Fun!! :D

If you're not able to get a reservation, try again 7 days before the date(s) and 2 days before the date(s). People have posted that they've gotten some at the last minute, and I know a couple women I worked with were successful doing this.

As far as 'worth it', the breakfast was a pre-plated, standard thing. Really not worth it at all. The experience in the castle with the views and the whole atmosphere is well worth it, at least once, especially if there is a little girl.

We have done it twice(DD was 4 and 5 at that time) and the third time my DD(when she just turned 7) decieded to pass. The breakfast is nothing to call home about. If you get reservation great. I say anything is worth trying once. I personally prefer the 1900 fair at GF for dinner. My DD(now 8) prefers the 50's prime time. I guess she has already passed the princess age and is in let's make a foul of parents age.

I like the Castle as well. The Storybook was nice, but it looked more like a resturant, DD said where's the castle?? We did get a lot of character interaction there though.

I've done it twice and thought it was worth it. The first time was with my then 9 year old niece, it was really special for her first morning at WDW. The second time was in February with a group of friends. Even though we were four 40+ women, they still took time for pictures with us. I thought the food was good, especially the cream cheese filled french toast...ummmm....:D

I had to laugh reading this post. I'll tell you our "experience" with the CRT breakfast.
When we went in 1997, we called 60 days out and got CRT! Yeah!!!! Our 9 and 2 1/2 year old daughters would be thrilled.
Well, at the time we didn't know it, but the 2 1/2 year old DID NOT LIKE face characters (the fluffy ones - Mickey, Goofy, etc. were fine). As more and more characters approached the table, our 2 1/2 year old went from putting the napkin over her face to actually getting under the table to get away from them.
My biggest laugh was when Snow White got on her hands and knees to say hi to her. (We politely told her not to bother.)
We were out of there in 20 minutes flat - never ate so fast in my life!
Cindy

But you can meet Cindy at the Toon town tent. She was there everyday with a surprise guest along wth one of the mice. She was also in the hall this past Wed at dinner. The host said she comes and goes and is not always there but we did see her and she also walked around the dining room but did not stop and greet guests. She was also at the camera center along with Bert and Mary Poppins Sunday night. So don't worry you will see her just maybe not at the breakfast.Good luck trying though.
