Is breakfast at CRT a good choice for a 5 yr old boy's Birthday?

We originally planned on celebrating it at Chef Mickey's for dinner and we probably still will on a different day, but how would it be for his actual b'day to start the day at CRT? I've never really bought into the whole CRT thing but I'll confess that I've never eaten there so I can't say whether it's enjoyable or not. I just know that everyone seems to make such a big deal over it on the boards that I started to wonder....We will have DD 3 and DD 8 months too! Any input appreciated.

Definitely a girl breakfast. Our son went when he was 3 and was more interested in his breakfast than the princesses, although my husband didn't seem to mind the attention. I'm sure your daughters would love it though. For your son's birthday, I'd pick either Crystal Palace, Donald's Breakfastosaurus, Chef Mickey's, or O'Hana's for breakfast. My son loves the Winnie the Pooh ride but has no interest in going to see Winnie the Pooh so we haven't done Crystal Palace but have heard good things.

I'm taking my 16 month old son there in Oct. or Nov. but he REALLY likes to check out the ladies. That may change when he gets to be 5. Our last trip we had a 5 year old boy and he wasn't bored out of his mind, but it wasn't his favorite. If its your son's birthday, maybe you could go someplace more up his alley.

I was actually thinking that DS might enjoy all the attention from the pretty princesses. :wizard: But then again, maybe he would enjoy something a little more "Boyish". Probably, but then I wonder if we should try to eat at CRT on a different day just because it's CRT...is it really that great?

Definetly a girls meal. We went when DS was 3 , and though he really didn't mind it, he wouldn't take his pic with any of the princesses. They did make a fuss over him. We are going this trip and DS is 7, but now I have DD who will be 2. He isn't happy, but I booked the Pirate Cruise and Chef Mickey's for him, so he's a little more open to the idea now.
