Is breakfast at Broomsticks worth $64?

So I found a package discount for the military. We get the one hour early admission for staying at a partner hotel. When I spoke with the rep she said we could add breakfast at Broomsticks to the package for $16 a person. We are all HP fans, but would it be a better deal to go for lunch where we could split meals, assuming the meals are as huge as they are at Disney? The week we are going is looking to be lower crowds so an early lunch seems like it would be the better option to experience Broomsticks without paying so much. Thoughts?

It wouldn't be to me. I would much rather spend that money for a nice dinner rather than a breakfast but that's just me.

We had breakfast there on our last trip since it was part of our package. The food was good, but wan't anything special. I think $16.00 per person is a little steep for breakfast.

I've done breakfast at Three Broomsticks before but not with a reservation w/the package as they had very little reservations the morning we were at the WWoHP and they were inviting the public in so we paid for the platters like a normal counter service.

However, next weekend I will be there on the package and the way people are wording it, it sounds as if the price of the breakfast is included in the package, meaning you don't pay separately for the food too. Is this the case or do you still pay for the food? I thought all that was included with the package was the reservation and you just paid for what you ordered once there. Just confused. It doesn't matter to us either way.

The cost of the breakfast is included in your package. You don't pay anything when you eat there unless you order above and beyond.

When I backed out the cost of the hotel and the tickets in the Harry Potter package, I found the cost of the Broomstick breakfast to be about $9 per person. Why is yours $16?

No sure. The package I was looking at was for military, so the original quote was for room and tickets. I asked about the breakfast and she said I could add it for $16 a person. Of course, I called back about 10 minutes later to book the room she offered and it was supposedly no longer available so she may have not known what she was talking about!

Most of the time you can get in for lunch without much wait, especially if you plan it right. It didn't appear there was anything special about the breakfast.

Keep in mind that if your reservation is during the one-hour early entry, then that is time you are spending (wasting) at breakfast when the crowd are lighter at the rides and shops.

We chose to use the time to visit the rides and shops and then had an early lunch.

They do a great job moving people in and out. Having them seat you rather than everyone trying to save tables surprisingly seemed to make a big difference.
