Is Boma worth it for a non-adventurous eater?

We were there for dinner. IMO, it ties with Ohana for most overrated WDW restaurant. I guess it's just a matter of personal taste. I really wish they would open a truly authentic, African restaurant in AK.

I couldn't agree with you more, about Boma AND Ohana. As far as Boma goes, it is a buffet, and I think buffet food is mediocre at best, no matter what nationality it may be.

If you do not like curry, you will be in trouble here. I was really looking forward to BOMA, my husband was ambivalent about it. He loved it, I ended up eating the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I am not kidding. I did not even like the prime rib, because of the rub on it. I kept noticing an underlying spice that seemed common to most of the dishes. I asked the server what it was, and he said curry. Well if I had known THAT beforehand, I never would have booked the meal. I hate curry. Forewarned is forearmed I say. If you like curry, go for it. If not, I would skip this one.

No, it's not worth it for the picky eater. But it may be worth it for the others in the group, and the picky eater will not go away hungry.

yeah, they can always spend 20+ $ to eat PBJ like i did! :rotfl:
