Is Boma better for breakfast or dinner?

Breakfast is quite a bit tamer than dinner. They do have some exotic choices, but there is plenty for us folks that like boring stuff. I personally like the breakfast better than the dinner. The dinner is a bit too exotic (meaning spicy) for me. What I did like was wonderful at dinner, but just not enough normal choices at dinner for me.

The breakfast juice they serve is WONDERFUL!!

I love the dinner- I don't think its all that exotic or spicy. They have salad, chicken, beef, potatoes, pasta salad, etc. My bf isn't a very adventurous eater (usually eats cheeseburgers at WDW) and he loves Boma for dinner. -Steph

I'd say it depends on if you are a "big" breakfast eater. We make sure we go there for breakfast once each trip. DH loves the chef preparing him an omelet his way right in front of him.

We've eaten dinner there too and weren't disappointed. I love the soups. There were either 4 or 5 different ones to try. Lots of spicy meats and veggies too.

I wasn't crazy about the dinner. We spent a lot more on the Boma dinner than we did on dinner at California Grill, which was just nuts.

Have had breakfast and dinner a few times at Boma. Love them both but dinner is just amazing! I didnt find it spicy but I suppose if you are used to blander tasting foods this would be very different. The selections mostly are "WOW" flavorful! They have tamer options too. Quite an experience and if you can do breakfast and dinner, do it.

I have had breakfast and dinner at Boma. I much prefer breakfast. There are a few different items to try, but dinner I had a really hard time finding something I enjoyed. I would definately try both at least once. But if you only have time for one, I would choose breakfast. :flower:

I loved both and if you have a chance to do both, do it. That being said, the breakfast food was pretty standard, but the Frunch was awesome, I would have breakfast there just for that. The dinner food was delicious, lots of variety. You can't go wrong either way.

Thanks for your input everyone. I am going to WDW with a friend who has never been and thought she would enjoy the special foods served at Boma. The logistics of getting there and back at suppertime using buses were looking complicated so I thought breakfast might be better timing-wise. I think, though, I'll try for supper this time since the fare seems to be more unusual and definitely return for breakfast another time (not normally a big breakfast eater but breakfast is my favorite meal to eat out).

I liked the breakfast, but loved the dinner.
I don't eat a big breakfast as well, so than it's a rather expensive juice :D even when it's terrific.
But at dinnertime I like to taste all the different food and I personaly think the taste isn't that exotic, but that's maybe because I am not used to American food :D

My family enjoyed Boma for breakfast, we made an early PS walked around the hotel and grounds then took the bus to AK the pressed coffee is amazing we cant wait to have it again, it does cost extra though but well worth it if you enjoy coffee. Many choices for breakfast food, we were very adventurous Planning another trip for Oct we wouldn't miss Boma for breakfast.

...but for the real flavor of BOMA (pun intended!), I would go with dinner. The food is wonderful, high quality and very interesting.

Enjoy!!!!

I plan on having breakfast there our first morning. I read somewhere that you can see animals from somewhere in the lodge. Is this true? Any help would be great. I can't afford to stay there so i thought my DD's would like to eat breakfast and look at animals.

We really love the breakfast becuase they have different meats available from the rotiserie (sp). They also have a very wide variety of options at breakfast.

Dinner is however a different story. You can almost always find something that will meet your boring staple side, but they also have a wider variety of exoctic african style options. My favorite is the Tamarind BBQ Ribs and the Nut Crusted Salmon that they have from time to time. They both have a bit of spice to them, especially the ribs.

I recommend Boma for both Dinner and Breakfast. DW and I have a new rule that we will try anything once at Disney World. I would go back to Boma over and over for both meals.

Have never eaten at Boma, but I hope dinner is better cause that's the PS I made for Spring Break trip!

Both are GREAT!!! The juice at breakfast is wonderful and I don't like juice usually. They have these potatoes and they serve them at both meals. I was thrilled when I found them at breakfast after eating my weight in them at dinner. The desserts are different and wonderful at both. If I was told that I could only do one or the other I would weep. This would never happen though...we eat there almost everyday. I can't wait to get back there in June. I am a picky eater due to my allergies and I don't have any troubles at Boma either.

Go for dinner if you can only go once, but if you go once I bet you'll go back! We ended up eating there 4 times in 5 days, despite all my planning to go to lots of other places. We just loved it. Mmmmm.. Curried Cauliflower soup... :earboy2:
