Most people around seem to think that I am the Dis resident Jellyrolls expert, and here's the scoop:
It is 21 plus. They will not let any kids in--I've watched many families turned away.
The cover charge as of August is $7, and with the talent of the piano guys, that's a bargain in my opinion.
The only food they serve is popcorn, which is free (it has a mild cajuny salt on it that's very yummy).
It's a lot of fun. The first hour or two is usually pretty slow. It's really intimate, with a lot of interaction between the piano players and the audience. They will ask everyone where they are from, and just ask random people to request a song. It usually picks up around 10:00.
If you go and you Scotty and Ray, I highly recommend requesting "Buttercup," "When I'm 64," "I've Got You Babe," and "Big Yellow Taxi." If you see Christian and Drew, make sure you request "Love Shack."
Have a great time!
Karen
