is boardwalk fully booked for oct 2012?

This year we're going to Disney with our DVC points, but for comparison sake I wanted to see how much we would be paying cash. Now, I can't seem to make a package (hotel only) on the disney site to estimate the cost of 10 nights boardwalk in october 2012. Is it possible that it's fully sold out already? (i didn't only select villa's, i also looked at the inn)

Oct with the food/wine at Epcot is pretty busy - so it might be. here is another place - these are rack rates so any discounts you need to consider.

Just was able to pull up on WDW.com 10 nights at BWV in a studio with standard view...$410 a night plus room tax of 12.5%....total $4613.00. The dates were Oct 10 -20,2012...hope that helps...

You just made my day. We're in a Standard Studio from 10/11 - 10/18, 7 nights, on 78 rented DVC points for $10 per point, in other words, $111.42 per night.

thanks ice cube; probably was a problem with the systems then...wow, those prices are steep man....i just managed to pull up the same dates as we are staying (22/10/01/11) and it was 5 244 usd for the stay (in a standard view studio)! yikes! with our dvc points, counting the maintenance fees, we're only paying 1 650 usd; guess the discount just earned us back half of the repurchase price we paid for our points!!!

However, what DVC calls standard and what DRC calls standard are two different things. Because you can't get a DVC standard or DVC BW View from DRC.

I figured that there had to be some discrepancy to explain the huge difference, but for what we paid, that includes a kitchenette, we're thrillled to be anywhere in the Epcot area. ADRs tomorrow!
