We've never been to BB because it always seemed so...well..white! Is it pretty? Are there trees and shade? I love the theming at TL, but looking for something new and different to do on next trip.

It is very attractive. It has lots of trees for shade. How do you think they keep that snow from melting?;)

when you compare it to TL, it certainly is not as pretty, but it still is great park, with some neat slides, the family raft is terrific much better than TL, but the wave pool at TL is the best.....
Try it you might really like it...

Anyone know where I might see some pictures?

Here's a link that has some photos -- http://www.wdisneyw.co.uk/photo3.html

I personally prefer the theming of TL over BB, but BB is a lot of fun and worth the visit, although it can be lacking in the shade department. There are spots with shade and if you get there early enough, there should be no problem finding them.

OK linda, you got me wondering.....

you mentioned that there are some seats in the shade at BB.
Where would they be located? (if we get there early enough we would love to snag some) We always did TL, but are wanting to give BB a try.

BB is a nice park. Because I come from a snowy area, I'm not really thrilled with the whole snow theme, but it's fun anyway. The tropical theming at TL is so much more relaxing and gives me a real sense of escape from the real world, but BB has great slides and Cross Country Creek is a wonderful lazy river raft ride. The wave pool at TL is better IMHO, but Summit Plummet at BB is a slide that can only be described as "intense". You'll like BB, after all, it's Disney.;)

TL is much prettier IMO but BB makes up for it by being more adventurous and playful. I think that it's a nice waterpark.

Actually, I always thought that River Country was the prettiest of the group but that's another issue.

loriandmatt -- I knew someone was going to ask that. :) If I remember correctly the two times that we have been there, we went through the gates and kept to our right. I found a map of BB and I think that area is called the Ski Patrol Training Camp. We went to the same location on both visits and found there to be enough shade if we wanted it.

Depends on what you are looking for. We prefer TL because we love the tropical island look. It is quite relaxing for us. Younger ones (well younger than me!) seem to like the rides at BB better and I would have to agree that the family raft ride is better than the one at TL, but we still prefer TL. Besides, we live in New England and try to get away from the snow!!! But as usual, everything at BB is done just as nicely as everywhere else in the parks!
