$134.95 + 3 sodas + 2 Beers :drinking1 + tip?

We are a family of 5 - DH (47), me (29 ;) ) and sons 14, 12 and 10. We are not usually big buffet people but the setting looks fun and the entertainment might be interesting.

What exactly happens entertainment wise?

We love Biergarten! The entertainment is typical German stuff - lively music with a bit of comedy thrown in and everyone is invited to the dance floor while the musicians play. We love the food there, but it's a very meat-heavy menu, so don't expect a lot of green veggies! The beer & wine is outstanding, and the service has always been top-notch for us, so I highly recommend it. However, you have to decide if it's within your budget, and if you mind sitting with strangers at your table. It's community style dining - if I remember correctly, most of the tables seat 8, so with 5 in your party, you may or may not have to share. After a couple of beers, you probably won't notice though - lol!:jumping1: :drinking1

Hello - its completely worth it. The foods pretty good. My DH family is German and they go every trip. If you want to save a little, you can make a very late lunch ADR (say around 3:30 or 3:40 so) which is a little less expensive. If you get a late lunch ADR it won't feel any different than dinner and you'll be free to enjoy the evening. I also find that when we do the very late lunch/early dinner we really only eat 2 meals - breakfast and the lunch/dinner so you'll save more that way.

YES it is worth it!!! I love it so does my family (DH,DS,DD and DM) the food is in our opinion fantastic and the kids love the entertainment. If you like Oktoberfest atmosphere you will enjoy it. ANd the beer is lovely.

We are huge Beirgarten fans, DH is 100% German so he can totally get his grub on here. Great food, music and atmosphere...oh and beer, did I mention the beer??? :drinking1

Wow! Always wanted to try this resturant but didn't know how it was. After reading this it's something I would love to try. Thanks for the great info!

Make sure to get a liter if HeifeWessen (sp?)...

It's worth it. The food and entertainment are always very good. I personally enjoy the beer and the sausages. I don't each much of that type of food during the year, so when we go to the Biergarten, I tend to indulge. Have a great time.

We didn't care for Biergarten at all. Of course, we're not huge fans of buffets and we don't drink, so...

Definitely! :yay: Go at lunchtime, though. The musicians are fantastic, the seating, although you are sharing, is not imposing, and the food . . . the food is :woohoo: . The restaurant is very unique inside and really fun for all ages. The beers are HUGE!!! Enjoy your trip!

We love the Biergarten! The food is yummy, service is great and the band (although a little too loud for me) is wonderful and funny.

As a side note, we're a family of 4 and have never had to share a table. :confused3

We are a family of 4 and dined here in December for the first time. I was leery about it, but DH wanted to go.

It was GREAT!!! The food was really good and the entertainment was great. I wasn't so keen on the idea of having to sit with strangers, but it worked out really good. We sat with a family of 4 with a little girl the same age as mine. We all had a good time.

We have put the Biergarten on our list as one of our must visit restaurants when we return!!!

Yes, totally worth it! The atmosphere is very fun, and I thought the food was great! This place is one of my faves.

We hit the Beirgarten every other trip. The beer flight yummo.

And make your family get up and do the chicken dance! It was on the "do not play" list at our wedding, but at Disney - why not!!! :)

I love hearing all the great reviews for Beirgarten! We are looking forward to it in Sept.

Does anyone remember the cost on the Beer and what is a Beer flight?

Thanks!

:lmao: It was on our "do not play list" too - 17 years ago!!!

Based on all the input, I am thinking that Biergarten might be a fun lunch.

But I need more convincing ;) - tell me about the different types of beer (HeifeWessen and Franziskaner for starters) and the beer flight.

Thanks for all the feedback!
