Since they don't take PS's, I was wondering if Beaches and Cream tends to be crowded for dinner. Any guesses as to how long the wait might be (we'll be there in January, so it's not peak season)?

When we stayed at the BC last May, the wait at B&C was anywhere from 45 min. to 1 hour, depending on the time of day. It is extremely small, maybe 4 booths and 4 or 5 tables. I can't imagine why there's nothing bigger. We will not return to the BC due to the eating situation. You can only eat at Cape May so many times in a week!

Yes, there can be long waits for B&C. There are only about 10 tables in the whole place, so it doesn't take much to fill it up. We stayed at the BCV this past January (week of MLK holiday), and went to B&C twice. Both times we were able to get tables without waiting. Also note that they have a line to order takeout here, so if the place is busy and you don't want to wait for a table, you can order to-go and then eat at one of the outside tables or at another location around the resort or pool.

We ate dinner there this summer and expected a wait but much to our surprise we were seated right away. We went at a time when I think a lot of guests were at the parks watching Illuminations, Fantasmic, Wishes, etc. Best bet is to go early or when the fireworks are. AFTER Illuminations etc. is over it can get busy with people stopping for dessert.

We were there in early august around 7:30, party of five, seated immediately at the counter. Food was great and atmosphere fun...would've been worth waiting for (to a point :D )

We went by on a Sat night around 8pm late August and the line was out the door and onto the deck, ? maybe for take out or just ice cream...don't know but didn't bother, way too crowded.

If anyone doesn't want to wait for a B&C table, but still wants good food head over to the Yacht Club Galley. The food is excellent, and I think the atmosphere is much more pleasant.
