Is Back To The Future Closed Yet?

I've seen reports that said it was going to close on the 19th of Sept, and some that say Oct. 1st.

I'm going to US and IOA during my trip to Disney (Oct. 19th-22nd), and I haven't been to US in over a decade. Back to the Future and King Kong were two of my fondest memories of that park, and Kong is already gone. I had no idea they were also going to close BTTF. Does anybody have an official word on when they're going to close this?

Just got back and the ride was still operating on 9/23.

there's still talk of it staying open through HHN as a crowd buffer, we shall see.
