Is August a popular DVC month

We are some of those crazy people that like to travel to WDW in August. This will be our 3rd year in a row. This year we are taking our first trip home to AKV where we own, we also own a small SSR contract. Next summer I'd like to possibly try BCV. Will it be impossible to get a 1 bedroom at BCV during dream season starting Aug. 16 at the 7 month window?

We certainly won't be crushed if we can't get into BCV, but SAB would be great in the August heat.

I think that you should be OK....

Lots of kids start going back to school then....the last 2 weeks of Aug is
less crowded than the rest of the summer.

we have been going the last week of august for the last three summers. wont do that anymore due to the chance that free dining is available. very croweded. now doing the week before that and well see, heard that was also a nice week to go.

We've been the last two years during that time frame. In 2006 we were there August 16-21 and last year we were there August 16-26. We didn't find the crowds too bad. This year we're going earlier in August before our AP's expire.

You should be able to get BCV in mid-August at 7 months. Enjoy the heat!!
