Is Auberge De Cendrillon really worth it?

When we went in Oct half term last year, we were queuing around 3 times a day for the Princess Pavilion, for some reason I am just obsessed with the princesses!

I was told by a lot of CMs 'just go to Auberge and you will see them all!' etc, but I mean for £60 is it really worth it? I mean it's getting more expensive each year! and is there no guarantee they will actually be there?

Say if you booked a late dinner, around 7pm - when we went to Cafe Mickey it was great because most of the children were in bed so the restaurant was not busy and we got a lot of time with the characters, will this be the same at Auberge or do only a few appear and then they leave at a certain time?

If anyone could tell me about their experience/post pictures/tell me whether it was worth it and if you'd go again, etc i'd be super appreciative!

DW and I had a lovely meal there on 13th March and I would say yes, it was a wonderful experience to be able to see the Princesses without having to stand in line for hours.

We took along our Red Noise Day Mickey Mouse which the British CM's recognised straight away. With the CM portraying Cinderella nearly breaking character when she recognised the Red Day logo.

We meet Cinderella, Snow White and her Prince Charming, Repunsal and all the characters came around at least twice to our table. It was a very enjoyable last meal before having to catch the Eurostar home. I did think the restaurant had a bit of a mouse problem but DW assured me Perla and Suzy were not a heath hazard.

The meal cost us 145 Euros with our Shareholders discount for the two of us, but that did include a bottle of Lanson Champage.

I would agree......it's a lovely meal and the atmosphere is very special.....most of the nice restaurants are expensive in DLRP but the food is usually good especially at this one! If you can afford go for it!

Thank you both for your replies, especially for the pictures will definitely have to book then!

Was going to go for dinner but now i'm thinking lunch might be a better option if we go early and it's less busy maybe.

If you like the look of the menu then its definitely worth it as a special treat. It seems to me that the people who say its not worth it are the ones who say the menu is not to their taste. There's no way I'd want to pay those prices if I didn't actually want to eat the food.

We went last week and paid 212 euros for two adult meals, two child meals, 50cl wine and 2 coffees. In a normal French restaurant near us I would expect to pay around 100 euros for the same menu and quality of food so you are really paying around double for the experience, the same as at inventions. And the experience was fantastic! The princesses are just so sincere and interested in everything the kids are saying, its really wonderful. They spend a lot of time with you and make everyone feel special.

Food isnt too my taste but the interaction is worth every penny. Were going again in April and i cant wait
