I'll grab me some Jamba juice on the way back I'm actually fixing to go back to the hotel. I started sweating and getting nauseous again not too long after being here and the crowds are unbearable.

It sounds like the Tylenol you took when you first went back to your room after the First Aid worked, you felt better, went back to the park, Tylenol wore off and now you're nauseous and sweating again. Yup, sounds like it's more than dehydration. I agree with PPs, it sounds like the flu because of the fever and chills and you feeling better is just the tylenol working. Rule of thumb is to be fever-free for 24 hours without meds before going out in public. Otherwise, you're just spreading the virus and not giving your body enough rest to fight that off.

Sorry you're sick during vacation.

The Jamba juice did help me feel a little better. I'm going to get some more in the morning and I guess stay in the room tomorrow. Maybe (fingers crossed) I'll be fever free for 24 and can go to the Halloween party that I have already paid for. Actually may run to urgent care in the morning and get some Tamiflu if that is what it is. Never had flu before. I've had 1 1/2 good days here and tomorrow is my last day and last trip Oh well, it is what it is. Thanks for all of the positive comments.

I got strep throat whilst there last month.

Sure it was because i got soaked watching world of color.

I too got strep throat while in DL last month. Never had it before. Hope I never get it again.

As others have mentioned, the sheer volume of people means there will always be bugs lurking around. I tried to protect myself as much as possible with frequent hand washing with soap and water, not touching my eyes, etc, but still ended up sick. I distinctly recall getting sneezed on directly, once in line and once on the train, but who knows....strep is a devious little fellow that many people can carry asymptomatically. Being sick on holidays is no fun. Take care!

With the incubation period, I'm wondering if I got it on the plane??? Closed in area. We flew last Saturday and I started getting sick yesterday. Prior to Tuesday, we were at Santa Monica, Laguna Beach, and Hollywood. There's probably no telling where I got it. At the urgent clinic now. Do you think Disney will buy my party ticket back and resell it if I am unable to go tonight?

No refunds on the MHP tickets, as far as I know. I'm sure that people get sick all the time, or things come up and they can't attend MHP. You'll probably have to end up giving it away to a random stranger.

You should be feeling pretty close to 100% within 24 hours after starting the abx. Just remember, no matter how good you feel, take the entire bottle of abx!

I did go to the party at 6:30 and was able to stay the whole timeWhen I was asking the cast member at the hotel if he had a Halloween party map when I got back from the clinic, he wanted to know why because he didn't have one. I told him my situation and that I was wanting to plan my night being that I would probably only last a couple of hours before I would wipe out. He talked me into renting a scooter that I never would have thought of doing and felt guilty for doing it but he was right. I was able to enjoy the whole party without getting worn out and I needed that since I had already missed a day and 1/2 of park time and was leaving this morning.
