I loved seasons one and two. Each season, the deaths were a surprise. I was especially bummed about who died last season--that character was amazing. I watched episode one of season three last night. I hope it is as good as the other seasons! I love Lucius Malfoy's southern accent and can't wait to see what kind of trouble he is in. I hope they don't kill off Belinda's character.

Other things I am curious about:
The sibling relationships between the Ratliff kids--something is odd.
What "other things" Zion might be stressing about
What is up with Greg being in Thailand?
The friend dynamic between the three women
Why Chelsea stays with that jerk Rick and what his deal is with the owners

Thoughts?

I have not seen it yet... It has really been on my list of things I want to start watching. I guess hearing the hype that a new season was coming out is what made me remember that I wanted to see this. I wish this last long weekend was calm enough that I could have had a chance to get started. Hopefully soon though.

Been waiting for season 3 and watched the first episode last night. Season 1 was my favorite so far, and I’m sad to lose that person in Season 2. This season’s opener did not disappoint. Lots of skeletons in closets, and creepy monkeys, good casting.

Nice to see Belinda from Season 1, but we were not so thrilled to see Greg! And he is with a woman. What the what!
Don’t see why Chelsea and Rick are together. She’s fun, he is a grumpy older man.
Girls’ trip dynamics are interesting- one is jealous of the other two?
The family traveled there so the daughter can research Buddhism? Seems a stretch, but there is so much there in their icky family dynamics should be good.

The setting is beautiful and I read somewhere that Thailand expects to see an increase in visitors after the show as they are still trying to improve tourism after the 2004 tsunami.
Can’t wait for episode 2!

We watched last night as well. It definitely had a distinct vibe. Can't really judge how the season's likely to shape up yet from the introduction episode, but Saxon has definitely proven himself beyond unlikeable at this point.

DD and I watched separately last night. I liked Season 2 better than season one.

Greg, yuck, why?? And why is that young gorgeous model with him?
Yes, the three kids dynamic is weird, to say the least.
Pretty much agree with all the comments, just going to enjoy the ride and watch it all unfold.

I’m right there with you—seasons one and two had some shocking deaths, and I’m still not over last season’s loss. Lucius Malfoy’s southern accent is such a weird but perfect touch, and I’m so curious what kind of mess he’s in this time.

The Ratliff siblings definitely give off a weird vibe—like, there’s something unspoken there. And Greg being in Thailand feels super shady. Also, Chelsea and Rick? Ugh. She deserves better. I hope this season keeps up the mystery and tension!

I spent all my free time this week watching Season 1. I loved it!

Now I am trying to decide whether to start Season 2 or rewatch Season 1 for details I might have missed. I will have to wait until Season 3 is complete before I start. I cannot stand waiting "week to week" for stuff.

I watched it last night. His accent is miles better than Parker Posey’s. I’m surprised they let that into the show. Mike White is usually such a perfectionist.

The siblings are weird as heck, the two boys at least. Patrick Schwarzenegger is doing a good job as the super creepy eldest sibling.

Greg- ugh not more Greg. Maybe this season ends it for him.

The three girlfriends. The one normal one is going to go off on them I imagine.

The dead body floating in the water at the beginning. I rewound to try to get a better look but no clues at least for me.

DD and I thought this weeks episode was pretty boring. I was a little surprised, usually there is so much going on.

DH and I thought it was boring as well but I feel like it was all a set up and the action is going to be full throttle next week or the half way point of the vacation. It seems like a lot of people taking a 3 hour cruise on "Gary's" boat.

Each week I keep thinking, ugh, this episode and these characters are so unsettling. Finally I thought about it and realized that's actually been true of every season and somehow I forget that, repeatedly.

Same. I rewatched 1 and 2, and did not like the characters at the beginning. I am enjoying season 3.
