Is anyone there now that did the upgrade from gold to platinum????

Did it mess up any photo pass pics in your account that you had taken prior to upgrade? My friend is there and leaves tomorrow. She has the gold and wants to upgrade before leaving but someone posted that when they upgraded her photo pass pics disappeared. Has this happened to anyone else? OF course my friend does not want that to happen since they have been there since July 1st and have loads of photo pass pics. Thanks.

I did the upgrade two days ago and it messed up my photos. When you do the upgrade it appears you just bought it. It puts the "photo pass" water mark over your pictures. I wasted a bunch of time visiting the memory maker place in Magic Kingdom. They gave me the number to call photo pass to get the photos fixed. When you call make sure you know your annual pass number and email you use on You use on your account.

After phone call is done it takes about 20 minutes for your photos to be fixed. Don't waste your time visiting any photo pass place as they can not fix the issue it has to be done on the phone. Hopefully they will figure out a ton of folks will be upgrading and they can fix the issue so everyone won't have to call.

I did not lose any photos in the process.

I didn't have MM (this year or last year) but now that I have the PP AP, I now see all my photos from this year and last summer

There may be a charge if your current pass was purchased prior to the most recent price change which was on 2/12/2017.

We did the upgrade last week and haven't seen any issues with PhotoPass pics from before or after the upgrade.
