Is anyone interested in doing one of the "official" WDW tours?

One of the shorter ones of course :)

If so, what are you interested in, if any? Just let us know.

Hi Cathy I would love to do the holiday one or is that a long one?

Short and sweet is a good thing....and no, I'm not talkng about glo again...ll.

Is the Keyes to the Kingdom a short one. I missed that one last year.

Ray :D

aaahem...here I have been so quiet and good and I still get picked on...by you no less Ray....Geez  :p

I missed Keys to the Kingdom last year as well. I might be interested in doing that one.

I may do The Undiscovered Future World tour at Epcot - but it isn't short.

I was thinking of trying to fit in The Keys to the Kingdom tour, too.

Funny, you should mention that.. Our Tommy and I were discussing that last night.. he said is there a behind the scenes tour of Epcot, specifically World Showcase, but we were just talking about it.. We did Keys to Kingdom, which was terrific, as you know... So we are open to a tour... depending on what it is..

I did Keys last year, but I don't know that it qualifies as "short"

Personally, I am skipping the tour this year. It just ate up a big block of time

Just an idea, is there not one at AK in the morning, not the sunrise safari but another new one...were you go around with the trainers and get an inside look?

Marsha - the Hidden Treasures of World Showcase is a great tour!

Here's a link to tour info: http://www.wdwig.com/tours.htm

Hmmm...after reading the description of the Yuletide Fantasy tour, that may be something I'd do on MVMCP day (Dec. 3rd) - rather than using a day on my park hopper.

I think most of the back stage tours would be great. I believe there is one for the WDW trains and I think it is like a 3 or 4 hour tour in the morning.

Dave - the train tour starts at 7:30 a.m. (YIKES!) and lasts until 9:30. (Better not schedule that one for the morning after a night at Jellyrolls!)

I just reserved the Yuletide Fantasy tour for little old me for Dec. 3rd! :D The cost is $59 ($50.15 after the 15% Disney Club discount). It starts at MGM at 9:00 and lasts about 3-1/2 hours. It doesn't require park admission, so I will go on the tour, rest at my hotel, then go to Chef Mickey's/MVMCP that night. :D

Nancy that sounds like fun !!! What a great day you're going to have !!!

Just wanted to add here, as I did on the other tour thread, that I have gone on 6 of these on my past 6 WDW's and have Hidden Treasures scheduled for this trip. All of the tours are WELL worth doing. Great insights.

PatrickIL:

There is a tour at the Animal Kingdom called Backstage Safari, I believe. I did it last year and it was TOO COOL! I came away really respecting what Disney does for the animals. I got to pet a baby rhino and his/her mama, which was pretty special, considering how protective rhinos are of their offspring. Think it lasted most of the morning.

Oh! The AK tour sounds fabulous! I would love to do something like that and see what's involved in taking care of the animals!
