Is Anyone Hopeful?

After almost 8 years with my company, today was my last day; I have been laid off.

I am hopeful; I refuse to believe that the future doesn't hold beautiful rainbows for us all.

I am hopeful. I take timeouts from the DIS because it brings me down to read all the negativity. I get scared.

My family is healthy, safe and we have a roof over our heads. DH is struggling at work but we are making ends meet with a little leftover. He is hoping to find a new job soon, not because he has to but because he wants to.

I keep telling myself it can't go on forever. I don't expect it oo and I don't want it too go back to the way it was. I just want it to stable out and be ok. I think it will. I don't think it will be roses in 6 months but I think it will be noticeably better and continue onward.

I agree with the time out every now and then and I agree, things may not improve in six months, but things will get better over time.

I'm hopeful. I'm healthy, my kids are healthy, my husband has a good job that enables me to stay home with the kids. I have a wonderful extended family and live in the best nation on the planet. I may not agree with what our current government is doing (at all), but I know that an election will be coming up soon and hope that things may change.

If not, I am still incredibly blessed.
