I need help....My connection is gone completly nuts as youll see from these test results that i just did.....



My connection is supposed to be getting at least 4,000 kb/s download speeds....does anyone know what might be going on? This isnt like the peak surfing time for us anyway

Maybe run a virus scan, to see if there's anything affecting your computer, therefore affecting the internet?

Do you have any funky files?
Maybe a virus?

You may have to reboot the whole computer. What I mean by that is taking off EVERYTHING and starting over.

Is it a new computer?

scan your computer...
check your internet cables and network(if your in one)
My computer was having a problem where it would shut off whenenver i went online. Turns out it didn't like a cable, I got that fixed and now i generaly have fast internet

Thanks for your help guys! I finally managed to get the internet back up to its normal performance. There was simply a problem with the ADSL line on my current modem (the newer one) so i switched back to my original BT router that was shipped with the package and....its now up at full strength....stats below..
