Is anyone having a difficult time logging onto Member Services?

I figured out the problem and fixed it myself!! Don't know why this wasn't happening before but I suspect it has something to do with the "my Disney experience" app. It turns out my log in to the dvc member site and my log in to the disneyworld.com site were exactly the same. So I logged in to disneyworld.com and changed my username to another email address. Logged out. And voila....I could log into dvc member site.
 

Odd because I have the same email and password for both sites and no problem. Are you sure that it wasn't a case of not being logged out of the WDW site when you tried to log in on the DVC site? The old DVC site had that issue.
 
I don't log into the dvc member site with an email address but then again I've not logged into the Disney site in a very long time. So, I've not had problems with DVC Member.

Glad you guys figured it out though.

It was because I had the my Disney experience app on my iPhone and iPad and that kept me logged into disneynworld.com all the time and both usernames and passwords were the same for both sites. I'll bet this is the problem for many people.

I always double click on the home button of my iPhone and iPad, then touch and hold the icon for My Disney Experience after using it. This essentially logs me out. I think it is actually a good practice to shut down all apps this way.
 
No luck here...

I logged out from the app, changed my email on disneyworld.com and when I went back to dvcmember.com, it said my email entered (the original one) was incorrect. When I tried the new email address that I used on disneyworld.com, it sent me to that d*$n "link your accounts page". Um, if I changed my email address on one site and it changed it for me on the other, aren't they already "linked" somehow:mad:?

Whatever the folks in Disney's IT department are getting paid is entirely too much:sad2:.
 
I was having this problem since last Wednesday. I called MS on Saturday and they had no insight.
I tried using various browsers and devices (IE, Chrome, Safari, a laptop, my work pc, an iPad, and my Droid phone) all to no luck.
Finally today I called MS again...and this time they gave me a new activation code, which worked ! No explanation of what was causing the problem, but I was off the phone in less then 10 minutes and logged into the DVC member website.
 
they must not actually know why its not working because they gave me a new activation code last week and it didn't work, it said invalid activation code
 
Same problem this afternoon: called MS, they gave me my Club ID# and Activation Code and it came up invalid.

I'll wait a couple days to see if they get get this figured out...seems like others are experencing the same issue.
 
Got mine sorted out yesterday. Called MS and they gave me club ID and new activation code. Entered it in but it came up invalid. They then reset my dvcmember account on their end. They told me to re-register the account.

They gave me a new code which I entered as if I was a new member but the site said that email address was already used. I then went back to the "link your account" page and entered in the club id with the activation code and that worked.

I would have MS "reset" your account and have them give you a new activation code. The club ID # is not your dvc membership #; it is a 7 digit # with a decimal (XXXXXXX.X). I think it is the resetting that does the trick.

I still have my original email address that I can use across all the disney sites.

Thank you so much for this info! It worked for me and I'm in! I had to change the email address I had on disneyworld.com. This is just silly!

You are very welcome! So glad it worked out. I don't understand why someone like me was able to figure it out...but Disney can't???
 
Sooo, I got an email asking me to reset my id and password. I did, and STILL HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. Argh.
 
I am starting to be annoyed with this. How is it acceptable for them that I have had no web access for over a week? :confused:
