DH and I will be celebrating our 1st year anniversay Oct 28th thru Nov 5th! We were married at Sunset Pointe at the Poly so we will plan something special on the 30th of October and celebrating my 30th B-day at MNSSHP on the 31st!! :bounce: :cool1: :bounce: We are planning on staying at POR!

Oh my god - that's great! So you're a Halloween baby? MNSSHP is so much fun! We are hoping to go also! Plus during this time period at EPCOT they have the Food and Wine Festival! We didn't have enough time there the first time but we hope to take our time this time around and be able to see everything in all of the parks.

We're going 10/19-10/24 to celebrate MNSSHP, F&WF, ds's short school break and my birthday. So excited but hoping it won't be *too* hot (I hate heat that's why you'll usually catch me going in the winter!) or crowded but I am guessing it will be. We're staying at BCV. No info on the PI party here either.

It won't be too hot - It was beautiful the last time we went (October 2003).

It is awesome! Not sure where we are staying yet...still hoping for discount codes down the road...then we'll stay at CR.

We are hoping for some great discount codes as well! I heard that discounts for October are usually out by August - not sure if that is true or not. :confused3

Count :earsboy: us :earsgirl: in too! Even though it's actually in September, my :love2: and I are celebrating out 16th anniversary in October, when the weather is a little cooler. We are planning to try Universal on site for a couple of days, then return for our second stay at the Poly mid week. Tonga Toast, here I come!

Lady Cluck. Youre going the same day we are. October 15th out of Louisville, KY. :)

Will be there on Oct 2-9 all 8 of us. staying a BCV me and my DW got engaged at the land in EPCOT. :bride:

I'm going in October too!! But I haven't made the reservations yet. That's why I'm here ;) . I went in October a few years ago and it was great!

I guess I'd better get DH to commit to some dates so I can get planning!!

Hi there,

We always fly over the Atlantic from Scotland to have 14 days at "home in Disneyworld. We love the place, it's just magical. Our annual expense for the whole DVC thing airfares, tickets, DVC repayments and spending money comes to well over 12,000 so wee have to love it.

FYI - Annual pass codes for October 2004 came out late August.

Count me in. Can't wait for F&W at Epcot this fall. Crowds are not bad, and the weather is awesome. There was no rain when we went last year.

We have gone in October the last four years and LOVE MNSSHP ... The last trip was for 10 days and so we did MNSSHP on a day that we did not go to the park, that worked out great for the kids for they stayed up very late (we might have been the last bus out that night.) As for the Market Place festivities I did not like them ... they were very very crowded. EPCOT's Food and Wine Festival was Great as usual and Pleasure Islands Halloween was good "adult" fun (Adventurers Club Freaks.)
The weather is always wonderful for us in late October and the crowds are very manageable ... WE LOVE DISNEY IN OCTOBER :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
We are thinking about going again this year perhaps without the kids :rotfl2:

Did Disney this past Oct. (2004) had perfect, and I mean perfect weather. First time we did Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, and in my opinion it is an absloute do not miss if you're there in Oct., as once again Disney nailed it with an incredible experience. This was the second time we went in Oct. and it has become my preferred time to go. No, you're not starting to plan too early, as we just started planning for Oct. 2005. Heck, planning is half the fun.

Does the F&WF make WDW very crowded? Also, there is the FUNAI classic PGA tournament there during the week I am going. (15th to the 22nd) DO you think that will make it even more crowded?

We are also going Oct 15th - 22nd. Can't wait. I have read everything I can find on MNSSHP and it sounds awesome. The costumes are even in the final stages of construction. I love Halloween and making costumes so it has been fun for me. We are planning to stay offsite unless we can get a really good rate. We do not have AP's this year so codes will be limited.

Will be there 9/27 - 10/4, Pop/AKL. Can't wait. I'm driving my DH crazy with all my internet surfing.
