Is anyone going in October 2005?

Me and my fiance are going for our honeymoon - we had both been there a couple of years ago and went to the Mickey Not So Scary party but since then we also heard that they have a celebration at Pleasure Island and also another on the Boardwalk ---Does anyone have any information?

Also, I was wondering how everyone else is coming along with their planning? Where are you staying?

I am going in Oct 2005, but haven't even started really planning. I find myself planning more for my big 10 day trip in October 2006. The trip this year is only for a few days. I would also be interesed in hearing about Pleasure Island party??

So I'm not the only one planning this far ahead! We plan on staying at the Port Orleans. What time of the month are you going? We are going October 30th - November 8th. Can't wait either.....It's all I can think about and I have a whole 9 months or so to go (what torture)

We're going from the 10/26-11/2 and I've been planning for a while. DH and I went on our honeymoon there in 10/03 and we had a wonderful time. If you mention it's your honeymoon when you are dining, sometimes they'll bring a free dessert or drink. DH and I only mentioned it once but we had friends who were there at the same time (also on their honeymoon) who were walking around with the Bride/Groom ears on and were getting freebies left and right. As far as Halloween events, I only know about MNSSHP but they'll start releasing info in a few months about it. Congrats and have a great honeymoon!!

We are planning on Oct. 1-8. DD's fall break schedule should be released within the next month, so I will see then if I need to move it. I hope not. I really don't want to go during Columbus Day week!

With my luck Fall break will be the very week we go. We are headed down October 15th - 22nd. Staying at the CBR.

Even with Fall Break do the crowds get very large? I just dont want to be very crowded.

This will be our first Oct. trip. I can;t wait for MNNSHP. I only know we will have to go after the 17th. , and we'll prop stay at POP.
I was hoping to wait until the party dates come out.

We are going down in Oct.
We are staying at Universal from 10/13-10/16 and then we are headed over to our favorite--Wilderness Lodge Villas from 10/16-10/21.
Oct is our favorite time of year to visit.
Definitely going to Halloween party again and plan to enjoy the food and wine fest.
I'm sorry-I don't have add'l info about the other parties.

We're going 10/19-10/24 to celebrate MNSSHP, F&WF, ds's short school break and my birthday. So excited but hoping it won't be *too* hot (I hate heat that's why you'll usually catch me going in the winter!) or crowded but I am guessing it will be. We're staying at BCV. No info on the PI party here either.

Not anyone..everyone. October is a very busy month in WDW..especially mid to end. The golf classic, food and wine fest, MNSSHP and who knows what else. Great time to go!

Our first week-long trip!!! We will be there October 29- November 4 at Pop Century.

We are going to try out the Halloween party at either Boardwalk or Downtow Disney- we are spending enough $$$ on the trip, and we don't want to spend any extra on MNSSHP. Heard Boardwalk is fun and not as crowded as DTD. Plus, we will probably eat at Spoodles or ESPN while we are there.

Add us to the list! We are arriving on 10/22, but then leaving on the 4-day Disney Wonder cruise on the 23rd. We get back on the 27th and will stay in Orlando through the 30th. We will definitely do MNSSHP! We went last year, and they did have other events going on on the 30th and 31st. Activities were going on at Downtown Disney, Pleasure Island, and I think Disney Marketplace. We always plan our trips in Oct. so we can go to MNSSHP!! It is awesome! Not sure where we are staying yet...still hoping for discount codes down the road...then we'll stay at CR.

We are going in October as well, the 2nd-9th. I just booked through Small World Vacations a week or so ago, should be getting the confirmation before too long.

We like October, because it isn't quite as hot or crowded as other times of the year.

Checking into the Wilderness Lodge-concierge level October 1 for 6 days- we are celebrating our 5th anniversary there... actual date of anniversary is September 23 but we decided to wait a week so we can attend Food and Wine Festival. Will be our first time as parents-our son will be 1 and a 1/2 when we go.

Me too! 9/29 through 10/4 at AKL, savanna. Just made my reservations today. Can't wait for Sept. 29.

I've never planned this far in advance. Usually I do it a month or two ahead then take my chances. Am praying for a discount!

DH and I will be celebrating our 1st year anniversay Oct 28th thru Nov 5th! We were married at Sunset Pointe at the Poly so we will plan something special on the 30th of October and celebrating my 30th B-day at MNSSHP on the 31st!! We are planning on staying at POR!

You will have so much fun - We went in 2003 and had a ball. The only area that tends to get really crowded is the Mickey's Toon Town Fair but it is so much fun. From what I can remember the dates come out in July.
