Is anyone experiencing phone outages today?

Since 6PM PT my mom and dad have had phone troubles and I want to know if there has been a phone outage today? The phones were working fine but this afternoon when trying to stream shows the shows got all choppy and no gaming apps can be played at all. What is causing this and will it be fixed tomorrow? As far as I know there are no rainstorms or floods or snowstorms that may be causing this

There have been storms all over the country the last 2 days.

But it sounds like issues with your/your parent's local providers.

We've had no issues at my house.
