I'm looking at the radar map and it's almost here!

We're expected to get anywhere from 3-6 inches to 4-8 inches (each network says something different.)

I know it's been snowing in other parts of the country pretty regularly, but when it snows in my part of Virginia, it's a big deal, LOL, the town just about shuts down!

So...are you waiting for snow too?

We are expecting a few inches here in Chicago, Blondie, but, unlike VA, a few does not phase us too much, unless in AM or PM rush time (used to be rush hour), which runs from about 5-10 in the AM and 2-7 in the PM. Hope it misses ya.

We are in Wisconsin! It's not supposed to start until this afternoon. We are supposed to get the most tonight and tomorrow. My Mom and Dad were in a Blizzard this morning in Idaho. My sister in getting freezing rain in Kentucky. Nasty weather!

It's supposed to start here sometime overnight and continue until Wednesday morning  . The worst of it is expected on Tuesday (snow, freezing rain etc). I'm hoping tomorrow morning isn't too bad. I only going into my office 2 days a week so I really hate to miss one of them since I always have lots of meetings and people counting on my being there.

I'm not waiting, more like hoping it never comes.

I'm off until Thursday (if I don't get called in) so it can go ahead and snow and I'll just ignore it until it's time to crank up the snow blower. Then I'll cuss it out in language that goes way back to my Navy days until I come in and take a hot shower and dream of warm sunshine and palm trees. Only 888 more days until I'm a Florida resident never, ever, to set foot in NY again!!!

I can't wait! We are in Maryland and it is calling for 4-8 where I'm at. Should start here around 6pm and snow all night. I'm looking forward to waking to a winter wonderland!! Off to look at the radar screen..............:)

We are in central NC. It is snowing here now. We have around 2 inches with expected accumulation of 3 to 5 inches. It is supposed to turn to freezing rain later this evening if it warms up. Never thought I would say this but I hope it stays cold!!

I wish I were in WDW!!:sunny:

but instead we have about 1 1/2 inches of ball bearing ice/sleet.

I hope none of you get this mess and I hope we don't lose our power. :worried:

The snow is here and more on the way. The wind chill is below 0 too.

Winter has offically arrived. Now it can unoffically go away. lol

We are waiting for snow, 3-6 or 4-8 inches, changing to freezing rain and sleet. There is a professional day tomorrow so no school until Tuesday but we had family plans. Looks like we will be spending time at home together.

Oh great. They're saying it's starting here tomorrow night right on through till Thurs AM with at least 6 inches and the potential for much more.

Dawn

We're suppose to get snow Tuesday after we just got 4-6 inches Friday AS we were driving home from a basketball game. I have never seen so many cars in the ditch as I did that night!! So be careful you guys!!

We are expecting 4-8 inches which means anything from a few flakes to a foot and a half with our weathermen  LOL

DDs can't wait to use their new snowman kit they got for Christmas, so maybe this will be the one.

Well....it's 4:10 and there is nothing falling from the sky!

If it's going to snow, I like to at least be able to look out my window and see it! At this rate, it'll be dark out before it starts!

It's supposed to start here this evening. I just looked at the weather radar and the outer edges of it are creeping into western PA. Last night, there was a weather advisory for 5 - 9 in., today it has been lowered to 3-6 inc. They do seem to be calling for more ice than they had originially forecast. Not a good thing!:earseek: DH is off tomorrow. Hopefully the schools will close! What stinks is that I still have to get up just to make sure school is closed!

I'm definitely not waiting for it....we've already got quite a bit.

It's 4:25 in Burlington NC, the snow has pretty much stopped, but the sleet is coming down like a steady rain. I'm just gonna stay inside.
