Is anyone else this CRAZY!!!!!

We are giong to WDW for April vacation 4/15 - 4/25. We go every year (sometimes twice) but I am still crazy excited like it is the first time...more excited than the kids, I think. I have all my kids (6) clothes packed already!!! I am going to start packing DH and my clothes today. Have I lost my mind....does anyone else do crazy things like this???

Living in the Northeast, as you do (and I do), since you don't need those warm weather clothes why not have them packed. We usually go two times in the cold months, and we just leave them packed (taken out to wash after each trip).

I'm not packed yet, but I think I'm just as excited as you are. I'm going shopping today to look for "Disney clothes". Hopefully, I'll find some bargains on last year's stock that they put out on the clearance racks!!!

Maybe not crazy, just over-organized. It sounds like you have a lot of time on your hands. We leave in less than 48 hours, and I haven't even begun to pack. I have a list, but nothing in the suitcases yet--it would all be wrinkled by the time we got there.

I am TOTALLY obsessed about our upcoming trip to the WL and Disney! The only reason I haven't packed yet is because I need to go buy some new spring clothes for our DD (and myself!!!)

LoL you're silly! I'm going in March and I'll be turning 19 soon and I think I am more excited now than when I was 6! Every time I go feels like the first time. Have a great a trip!

DMRICK, I agree it is 20 degrees here in Ohio. We probably won't need the summer clothes till June. So I was thinking about starting to go through and pack some stuff for our end of April beginning of May trip. Along with some meds. like Dramamine and some stomach meds. Can you tell we are very excited about our trip. Then we don't have so much to do in that last week. I noticed at the Disney Store online they have their swimsuits out. Walmart is getting theirs in very soon also. Have fun and go ahead and pack. I am crazy too.

If you are crazy then so am I! I get MORE excited each time because I know what to expect. With regard to packing, I have a tendency to set aside my kids' better and best summer clothes in a storage bin and won't let them wear them at all during the summer so I know they will have nice outfits for the trip. I recognize that's a bit obsessive.

When he came home last night I was reading my trip reports from last year. I write them in a little notebook. He said I was nuts - looks like you get to join the club

Count me in as crazy, too!!! We usually eat breakfast and have lots of snacks for our hotel room and I've already starting buying extras each week and storing them away for our April trip!! I did this last year (hubby had no clue, really) and my husband was so happy that we could use that 100 or so dollars he planned on spending on the groceries towards something else!! And just this past weekend I went through the kid's summer clothes and put some aside to pack!! We might be going crazy but all that matters is you have fun going that way!!!!

Like others have mentioned, when you live in Northeast you aren't wearing those clothes anyway...Why not pack them?
I,however, am buying things to pack for our April trip!

You're not crazy! I'm not going until July and I've already started packing! Meaning, our rain ponchos, shorts, bathing suits, summer things. If it adds to your excitement and you don't need to use the items in your daily life, why not pack them?!

LOL....Wish I could! I always seem to wait until the last eve to pack, and always leave things behind. I never sweat it, as we always purchase anything we forget to pack. Your enthusiasm and excitement is inspiring! Enjoy your packing!! Save some energy for your visit. (LOL).

Packing this early is not crazy. However, if you head off to the airport tomorrow because you're afraid that you'll be too long in the security line and miss your plane...then you've got serious issues to confront.

ROFL I was thinking that very thing!

My children are just as enthusiastic, already selecting what they're going to wear on the plane, what they're taking in their carry-on, etc. This whole process of planning and preparing is just too much fun to do sparingly. Enjoy it!
