Is anyone else feeling a BOG ADR is impossible!?

This was a really hard restaurant to get. Even when I had my 180 days to reserve, I almost didnt get it. I had to switch around my trip plans to make it work out. I hope you manage to get your's.

I was fortunate enough to find an early CP and BOG through the cancellation threads. Two weeks ago I found an Ohana on the Disney site. Tonight I was fiddling around trying to find something better than LTT (DH does not like it there) for the night we are going to MNSSHP and up popped BOG at a perfect time for us. So that will free up the other BOG for another Dis'er

Our trip is just 2 weeks away, so cancellations will and do happen, just hang in there.

I know, I know, you want dinner at BOG, but FWIW: we went twice in the last two weeks of August 2013 for snack/early lunch with only about ten minutes wait each time by getting in line at 10:30am. My kids eat lunch around 11am, so it worked for us. I just mention it because if you cannot get an ADR, and you want to at least see the inside of the restaurant, go at 10:20am, get in line, and order a soft drink and snack (they don't care if 4 people order 2 things and drink water). HTH!

Dont give up! We were able to get a reservation a couple of days before our trip last weekend after months of trying.

Also, while we were checking in, a few parties walked up without an ADR and they were able to be seated within 20-30 minutes ( Im not sure if there were same day cancellations, people didnt show up, or if there really were openings that werent available via the website, but they were able to get in!), so that's always a possible option, too.

keep trying and trying - hopefully something will pop up for you!! We are so strict on the 180 mark for booking usually but this time - there were a lot of other things going on in our lives and we were about 2 weeks behind that 180 day mark - we called DVC Member Services and asked to make a BoG reservation (fully prepared with several dates and times and also to find nothing...), and we got our first choice date and time - we could have had any time that evening!! Even the CM was surprised lol!! That was for the 2nd week in December too!! So ADR miracles do happen

Keep trying. I managed to snag one this morning for Sep. 17th at 6pm. Almost missed it because I couldn't believe my eyes when a time popped up!

We'll be escorted out after, because there's a Halloween party that night, but at least I got it!

We are leaving Friday and have dinner at the Plaza on Sat. I wanted to see if Crystal Palace was avail. instead. I know people change their minds last minute etc. Its dh, me and the 2 adult ds.

Well what pops up on the screen at 1 am (I am a night owl), but Be Our Guest!!!
I told dh I couldnt believe it, get out the credit card immediately etc . (Mine was in the other room).

I waited 4 hours when BOG first opened up on the phone and nothing. every trip since - nothing. Just for dh and I.

So people do change their minds and pixie dust happens and maybe its easier with 4 versus 2 and also not being a party night like halloween time or christmas etc.

Dont give up. We will be there Sat. night.!!

Try BOG lunch res if you can't get dinner. I made reservations for 10/7 just today and got a 12-12:20 window. There was also 10/10 reservations for lunch available as well

I must have gotten really lucky for our March trip. The day ADR opened up for us, I got online in the the morning at the time reservations were available online. There were three times available for BOG for dinner. The website was having issues. Waited an hour for the phone line to open up, called in and got the same reservation time with no problem. Also, got a dinner resi at Cinderella's Royal Table.

I'm happy for you. Our problem is we are a party of 9. I have no problem breaking up into a smaller group. The party of four is no problem, but party of 5 the only time is 9. Something might show unplanted, but we are willing to do lunch if necessary.

I have the same problem . it's frustrating
