Outwardly you would never know that this 52 year old man is having the time of his life at WDW. So I guess I "act" my age, but I am at WDW for the restorative properties of Disney magic. :earsboy:

Lan, I love your picture. You guys look like you has a blast.

I love to see people happy about Disney!!

My dad liked the ride and was able to pick at my sister about riding it before she did. :rotfl:

I don't exactly act like a mature adult anyway, but I don't intend to act all that mature when at WDW in February.

I'm 40 and probably act about 1/3 of that. I listen to too many of the Disney podcasts to be my age.

I cracked a rib at Blizzard Beach last January, and didn't let it slow me down (at least not too much!).

I'm tired of people saying "you're going to Disney World AGAIN!!?" They just don't get it..

Why yes I am! Until you have gone, you won't understand! Most of these people then say, yeah I wanna take the kids one of these days, maybe when they are older. Sorry I am living it up while you procrastinate. So the answer to the question is YES I am going to Disney again. :cool1:

I'm not embarassed while I'm there.... OK, maybe a LITTLE self-conscious when DH and I are the only ones in line for Pooh without kids ;) !

And if you think the above statement is strange try it as a single 58 year old male.

I look and act pretty old but I think very young when I am there.

im 22 and everyone who is my age thinks i am crazy! they think its nuts that i would rather spend my time at disney than at clubs and bars..but to each their own i guess. i will always act like a 5 year old at disney :rotfl: !

Are you kidding? This is the reason I'm going to Disney! I'm in my mid 40's and have a mission to act like I'm oh about 12 or younger. I've already warned my kids "expect to be embarrassed - your mother needs to de-stress!"

Remember you're as old as you feel!

Ditto!!!! 45 next week and planning on wearing a Bday button and maybe even getting a haircut with some pixie dust sprinkled in to cover that sparse area of foilage. LOL We love just seeing kids of all ages having fun with smiles on their faces in the parks. It just brightens your day. :sunny:

I'm 50, DH is 52, and we are having the time of our lives!! DH loves WDW at least as much as I do. Besides WDW, we kayak, go see live music as much as possible, play in St. Augustine, and just generally have so much fun that, as a friend says, "It's almost sinful." :thumbsup2

That's something I love aboiut WDW--an adult can wear a tiara or Pluto ears and not get a second glance. Live it up!

I'm not embarrassed about having others see me acting like a kid, but for some reason being with my family embarrasses me to no end. I want to laugh out loud in Mickey's PhilharMagic, dance at the DCL deck parties, and wear Mickey ears every day but I can't because my family is with me and I don't want them to make me feel stupid. :sad2:

WDW is the one place where I feel like I'm on the same level as my 3 teenagers. I can act as silly as they do, and I honestly think they enjoy my being able to relax and share in their fun.

So are you saying that a 28 year old mom walking around with stitch ears isn't acting her age? ;)

Or what about a 28 year old man who gets SUPER excited when he sees Launchpad McQuack at WDW. I wish I had the picture on the computer...he has the silliest grin on his face!

I'm 30 but spend my day teaching 9 - 10 year olds, I figure I get on so well with them because their age is my mental age!! My class certainly love our Disney classroom!!

Thanks for the replies everyone! I say that all of us meet up at WDW sometime and embarrass our families, kids and other 'grown ups'. :cool1: :Pinkbounc :grouphug:

Join the crowd! Having worked summers at a local amusement park all through college I can tell you that most people check their brains at the entry gate. You're there to have fun - no age limit on that!
