I am 40 years old and when I'm at Disney, I probably act less than half of that age. I'm all :Pinkbounc and  with a little :cool1: thrown in. I don't do it on purpose, but I am an exuberant person by nature. Anyone else get self conscious around "grown ups"?

Not me. I'm 36 and I have had trouble sleeping for the last couple of weeks I'm so excited! I hope the kids are excited as I am when we wake them up Monday to tell them we are leaving :woohoo:

42 and act like a kid . wouldn't even say half my age as that would be toooo much.

Drives DW batty but hey it is Disney right.

Oh and I'm really no different at home except for work where I'm very professional

When I am at Disney World, I am just a big child with money!! :yay: I'm there to have a good time, not worry that I am looking silly. Who cares?

32-year-old child here!!!

:rotfl2: I could care less what anybody thinks, too! When I see grown-ups act silly and start giggling like children, it touches my heart and sometimes, even makes me teary-eyed! That is what the magic of Disney is all about. You should forget your age, not think about going back to work or anything of the sort...Disney is for the kid in all of us!!

What gets me is when I go to Disney and see people that are all serious and uptight over silly things. There is so much to do and enjoy. :sunny:

I feel very kid-like when I'm there or when I'm dreaming about being there :)

Let's just say I'm pushing 50 & have decided to live ALL of my life to the fullest, including taking as many "early retirement" trips as possible to the World.

My heretofor immune to the mouse DH has recently been inducted into the fold too.:goodvibes

I wear the kids and the grandkids out, I have to wait on them to catch up or rest up, their holding me back, DW says I'm worse than the kids. :rotfl2:

I go to have a good time. Who cares what everyone else thinks when I get excited seeing a favorite character. During our last trip, we were in Character Connection and I got my picture taken after my kids did. My friends were surprised I did it, but ended up doing it themselves. I am there to have fun!!!!!!

I don't act my age at WDW or anywhere else, for that matter. I squeal, giggle, and throw the occasional tantrum.

I am 34 and I act way younger than that at Disney, especially when on a ride with my father.

Look at us in the front!!

Oh I'm such a child, when I see the characters I go crazy, I skip through the castle with my little girl, I went up to Chip on my last day to say goodbye and he very nicely played along, i did the dance routine at the HSM pep rally, in fact my DD7 was a bit embarassed to see mom not being mom for once, apart from when i decide to have ice-cream breakfasts cos we can at WDW, then I'm very cool.
Its the only place in the world I feel that liberated to have fun with my children on their level, and if we want to run up main St together we will, candy for lunch no problem, scratch behind Plutos ears..no problem....you get the idea, let the magic in and it becomes so much more than a vacation :cloud9:

I'm not embarassed while I'm there.... OK, maybe a LITTLE self-conscious when DH and I are the only ones in line for Pooh without kids ;) !

But at work, where I'm a professional, and co-workers ask where I'm going on vacation, I do have to admit that my answer is "Florida". They would never guess that my "other life" is at WDW! :lmao:

Absolutely Not!! Disney is the one place where I can let go and be the freak that I am. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I am turning 50 next month and you wouldn't know it when I am at DW. Heck I just sat on Santa's lap a few hours ago for a picture. You are never too old for Disney or for Santa!!! :thumbsup2

Lan, I love your picture. You guys look like you has a blast.

I love to see people happy about Disney!!

I agree with K9pal. I've gotten where I tell people at work either we are going to Florida or Orlando. Now that I've a DVC member I may tell them I'm going to stay in a timeshare. I'm tired of people saying "you're going to Disney World AGAIN!!?" They just don't get it..
