I have 3 hotel reservations because I don't know which one to stay at! LOL I have the BWPPI, Desert Inn and Suites, and Fairfield Inn. I most likely will stay at the Fairfield Inn. I'm sure I'll change my mind again tomorrow with a new reservation somewhere else. :rotfl:

I've stayed numerous times at the desert inn and suites. I love staying there for there service and location. :thumbsup2

Yes I'm the exact same way. I'm about to lose my mind trying to decide what I want. I search every hotel website everyday to see if I can find a better deal. I think I finally decide on one then I read one bad review about it then change my mind again.

I can't decide if I just want a regular old standard room or if I want to pay more and stay in a suite. Or if I want to stay with walking distance or down the road in garden grove. :confused3

Indecisive? LOL always, I stress over changing hotels I hate the unexpected. :scared1:And of course "could I of got a better deal"? And everytime I hear about this hotel or that on these boards I have to google them to all hours of the night to see if I should switch! :worship:
Right now since the Ayres hotel on chapman thread came up I have been researching it. LOL it will never stop till I have stayed at every hotel around. :rotfl2: and all this is for a quick 2 day trip this month LOL

LOL!!! :rotfl: I did the exact samething. I just want the best for my money. I will find one I like then I figure out they charge extra for parking and internet so then I have to start all over again.

It's nice to hear that I'm not the only one that does this! :rolleyes1
.

OMG I almost go insane with decisions, ask get away today :lmao: I worry, wonder, cancel, make new reservations, Until the last few weeks I go Im all nuts. I just thank God I got to see and hear how beautiful the fairfield is and how clean it is. I am finally comforted LOL

Indecisive like you ??? You bet and I blame these boards :rotfl:

Everytime i Think i have it worked out I read another thread and I change my mind again !!!

Seriously after much toinga nd froing I think we are settled thank goodness:banana:

Nope, you're not the only one! We already cancelled reservations for Hojo. We have decided to stay with BWPPI again but I cant bring myself to cancel our reservations at the Park Vue just yet because we have the suites reserved there.

Nope, we're never undecided about where to stay. ;) We've always stayed at Hojos since 2000. Then in June, they didn't have the room type I wanted. So I booked at Hojos and Fairfeild Inn; indecisively booking at both. The Ent rate never came through at Hojos so I stayed at FFI, and was really happy with that decision. I think you can't really go wrong if you stay at a place affiliated with a major chain like FFI (Mariott). I've had a few friends stay at places like Park Vue Inn and they paid as much or more to stay there. They weren't too happy with it. They said it was an older, walk up/drive up type, former apartment motel.
I stayed at Desert Inn and Suites once before and the parking was a nightmare. We came back at night and there were no more stalls available. When we went to inquire at the front desk and with security as to what we could do/where we could park, they simply said we were on our own because they only had x amount of stalls. Umm, yeah, but we were paying guests and had a parking pass, so clearly someone else must've brought more than 1 car because it's 1 car per room. They said too bad. After a big fuss, they had my DH park it at the Desert Palm Hotel (their sister property out on the boondocks of Katella) and walk back -- which really defeats the purpose of paying to stay right across the street from the pedestrian entrance. The room was not clean, decor was immensely outdated, and the carpets were filthy. Our socks turned black! Gross! I've heard on other boards (laughingplace) about several people getting double charged for their stay at DI&S, no customer service at all from the manager, and finally having to dispute the bill w/ the CC company. That's crazy! We wouldn't stay there again if the rooms were free. Their continental breakfast was hard, dried out donuts and pastries, they ran out of milk and said too bad, ran out of coffee and said too bad. They had little to no customer service skills. They simply didn't care because they know they're right across the street -- they will fill up and sell out without our business.
Anyway, that's why I think it's better to stay w/ a motel/hotel that is affiliated with a major chain or has an excellent reputation like Hojos and Fairfield Inn. At least if the stay is bad, you may have some recourse by going straight to the corporate hierarchy if you can't get it resolved at the local level. With some of the motels along Harbor, it can be questionable as to whether or not you'd have any recourse if your stay was horrid. Good luck in your decision!

Yes! And it has led to major trauma for me. I have been reading and checking and looking at multiple sights trying to make a decision. Last night I looked on Travelocity and a great rate came up at what I thought was Ramada maingate. I was thrilled and after thinking it over for 30 minutes finally decided to book the NON refundable rate because it was the nicest I had seen with a good location.
Well...20 minutes later after I received my confirmation, I realized I had booked the Ramada Limited Maingate, and after looking at reviews for that place, that it was not nice and was further more a long ways away and would require Art, etc. etc.

I freaked, and called Travelocity immedietly, who told me it was non refundable, but when I insisted that I had booked in error, they agreed to call the hotel, and now I have to call back when a manager is in to try to get them to agree to release my booking!

I am ticked! How can they call something two miles away "maingate"?? That is so deceptive!!

Anyhow, wish me luck! When I get this resolved, I am going to either stay with my Super8 great deal, or suck it up and go with my Okay deal at HOJO and hope the entertainment rate comes out for some of the dates. Lesson learned...I am done shopping it!

So, I'm not the only one! Good to know. Yes, I agree this board is a cause of my hotel craziness! I'm only going to be there for 3 days and you think I'm moving there for 2 years.

DisneySuiteFreak-I just love your reviews. I think you and I are think alike in the hotel dept. I absolutely want a better known hotel chain and I didn't even know the FFI was Marriott based until I researched it more. The price was great and I think the location is just fine with two little ones.

Thank you so much! I'm glad to be of some help to others. I hope you have a great time at Disneyland and FFI!

I got mine for the FFI for 10/5-10/8 for 119 a night. I did upgrade to the Disney Resort View though. I could have gotten a room for $99 a night and possibly could have just lucked into a Disney Resort View but I didn't want to take that chance.

Oh boy, I am right there with you! DH can't understand why I'm on these boards so much but I'm trying to tell him that I will find us the best deal :)

My dilema is to stay at HOJO with the enter. rate 10/27 -10/30 or go a week earlier and enjoy a Fri night and stay at FFI 10/21 -10/24. The goal is DH can us his Marriott pts for one night and then it'd be a wash...but he's taking his own sweet time to confirm this. Doesn't he realize that I need to choose a date and buy TOT tickets?

I do that all the time. It is not uncommon for me to make 3 reservations at 3 different places and go back and forth trying to decide. Yah but this is cheaper, Yah but this is closer, Yah but that room is larger. I like Desert Inn and Suites but BWPPI is good too, but seems to be a little more expensive.

I thought I was the only indecisive one in the world!! ha ha...I booked Homewood Suites on my own, and then I booked Paradise Pier through Costco, and I was also considering Ho Jo's and Fairfield. After Disney Suite's wonderful review with beautiful pictures, she sold me on the Fairfield!! I booked AND paid for it for $87/night (not Disney view) so it's ony $500 for 5 nights with tax included! Yippee!! One less thing to worry about now...I can "rest in peace" although I still have to book our airport shuttle tickets, park tickets, train tickets to San Diego, hotel for SD, etc.! ha ha...it never ends!
